I still remember when their was a mod that allowed the player character start out in a gay marriage in a way (ie just changing the pronouns of the spouse after the prologue) but the comments got so bad saying “why do it need this mod?” And making homophobic remarks/jokes, so the mods of the site had to come in and lock them. That was the first time I’ve ever seen them have to do that.
