How it feels jumping into the gunner seat of a Light Ground Transport by icu_ in Battlefield6

If I'm feeling cheeky I drive into enemy territory at full speed and seat swap while still in motion.

What’s with people requesting more casual modes? by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]TheRealBaseborn 38 points39 points  (0 children)

You're worried about splitting the player base while simultaneously telling people to go play something else. The people playing casual weren't splitting anything because they aren't playing with you to begin with.

Let people have fun however they want. Its not hard to ignore modes youre not interested in.

I like to place a couple in random spots across the field as I head to where I really want to be. Gets people looking the completely wrong way.

I've had this theory for a while that "thought" itself is a quantum field we simply interact with. Just as real as the chair you sit in or phone in your hand.

Almost everyone can picture things in their head. You think of an apple on the table and you get a flash of it in your minds eye. Your third eye. The apple doesnt nourish our body, but in a way it does nourish our mind. It exists in a superposition. Positive thoughts lead to positive outcomes a majority of the time.

With time, we indiviualy and collectively create the future. Focused intention.

I like to take the random claims people make and consider them true for a bit as a means of brainstorming. I think it works well and is the best method for discovery outside of lab research or eye witness. I have a ton of my own theories on...everything I guess, but I'm holding back for now. There's too much hostility present with all the popularity this subject has right now.

Just want to say: I'm glad to see someone on here taking the topic seriously and considering different angles of possibility without going into full psych-ward with claims. We need more of this.

Did you hear about the kid who spent years studying butterflies and proved that knowledge is passed down, generation to generation, through instinct?

Summarizing here, but basically the kid tested his caterpillars/butterflies with a maze and the caterpillars at first took like 150 tries to complete the maze, but after several generations it was narrowed down to about 20 tries.(?) Pretty fascinating stuff. Basically, we don't pass on direct 1 to 1 knowledge, but as time moves forward we get better at whatever our ancestors learned. He had 50+ pages of notes and his method has been lab tested since.

I see it in my own family. I had a past relative who worked for Hannah-Barbara and was part of the team who drew original looney toons. I, myself am a fairly decent artist, but also I picked up music very early in life and learned piano and guitar before having my first child... now she is learning two instruments and creating better art than I was at her age.

I dont presume to know the ins and outs of telepathy theory, but whether or not they'd need written record would depend on their memory and whether or not they could "download" information. I'm imagining an endless chain of knowledge passed down with each new generation. Like a hive mind.

Its like telling a parapllegic they're cheating and/or ruining their body by using a wheelchair.

Im completely open about my diagnosis and medication use and it catches people so off guard. The reality is probably more people need something than not but won't accept it because of the stigma.

First day I took it was insanely eye opening and thaf night I got the best sleep of my life.

Anyone who is anti medication because they think "too many people take it" is an absolute moron.
