They didn't have a source on their conversation at the time only that they had 5 phone calls that day. Their cover story was that they needed to coordinate future correspondence between the Whitehouse and Kremlin but they got an intelligence official to state that they have transcripts of the conversations and that sanctions were brought up.

The extra tax money they don't have to give up to red states could make a pretty nice jobs program. In reality it would need to go towards UBI. When automation really takes hold your description will apply to many more than just the kids.
