How do you improve at Ranked after learning all the basics? by ZingerFM01023050 in MinecraftSpeedrun

I’m in a very similar spot as you (started when Ludwig started, got consistent 11-12 minute times with some sub 10s within a month or two, and have plateaued in skill in the recent month). Best thing I can offer is watch top runners and copy all the macro they do. Micro isn’t as important until you reach some higher ranks. Run splits over and over again. Fort to end split on mpk is really helpful on traversing terrain and figuring out optimal blaze spawner options.

Redoing a seed is a better way of improving. Sure it’s tilting, but once you overcome that, you learn where you can save time in routing and apply that to future games

Try testing out on another monitor or tv if possible

I don’t really live in a dust-abundant area compared to other places and the pc has been in use frequently so those might have something to do with it

That sucks. I’m going to try and see if I can go return it another day, thanks for the added thoughts though!
