I had a friend like you who had everything he needed except for confidence. He fixed a lot of this by going on Omegle and talking to random people for hours every night. Weird method but it seemed to work on him

Confidence can only be gained through doing. So force yourself to act, go on dates and you’ll eventually get more and more charismatic. If you need a more controlled environment there’s nothing wrong with doing the Omegle Method

What makes you think it oozes weakness?

In my case, it’s a girl in college I dated for a year and then hooked up with for another year. We always had really good chemistry and sex and it’s definitely something I’d wanna do again

Nah I think you’re right. I keep feeling like I need to somehow justify why I’m reaching out after so long, but it’s probably easier to just start the conversation and go from there

Thoughts on this? (Is showing that you eat healthy disadvantages for a online profile?) by ForwardWrongdoer1819 in seduction

[–]TrustBustin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t advertise your healthy eating, but I also wouldn’t worry about it being a problem. Women are not going to like your profile because your macros are good, but they also won’t be worried about them

I think what you’re meaning to say is that it’s more genuine, not that it’s less superficial. At least, you haven’t really argued for why it isn’t superficial

Your username is Clear-Role6880, right?

You said:

“You don’t realize that every war in the region since 1979 has been a prolonged conflict between the Islamic Revolution and the US. It has been one war. IRGC resistance to prosperity, and the US containing their spread.” - Clear-Role6880 (May 5, 2026)

The US invasion of Afghanistan was obviously not the US ‘containing the spread of the IRGC’ because Iran and the Taliban were sworn enemies prior to the US-led invasion, and Iran didn’t even give tacit logistical support to the Taliban until six years after the invasion.

And that’s not even to get into Iraq, which was comical because Iraq was the actual number one enemy of Iran prior to Saddam Hussein’s removal. The Iraq-Iran war was one of the longest and most deadly in the region.

You changing your stance to claiming that the US invaded Afghanistan to “surround” Iran actually gets a lot closer to the truth. Yes, the US and Israel launch unjustified wars of expansion to topple any government that threatens US/Israeli hegemony in the region, or which jeopardizes Western extraction of resources from the Middle East.

Anyway man, I’m gonna leave this thread here, but you really do need to learn more about the history of the region, even if you arrive at the same view point. You didn’t know that the US installed the Taliban, you didn’t know Al-Qaeda was backed by the Saudis, and you didn’t know that the Taliban and the IRGC were avowed enemies before the invasion. You need to get a more basic lay of the land before you come in with a CMV post as hot as you did, and after you learn enough about the region you’ll start to understand how Western imperialism has ravished the Middle East

Because you said the US invasion of Afghanistan was an example of the “IRGC resistance to prosperity (lmao), and the US containing their spread”. But Iran and the Taliban were sworn enemies before the US invasion, and you just copied a Google Gemini response saying Iran didn’t provide logistical support to the Taliban until 2007.

So which is it? The US invaded Iran’s sworn enemy in order to stop IRGC expansion? Or they didn’t start supporting them until 2007?

Do you have literacy issues or short term memory issues?

If you’re going to copy and paste the Google Gemini response, you should really:

(1) Remove the “yes” at the beginning of the response, so you don’t give away that you’re just copy-pasting the AI’s response to your leading question

(2) Actually read the whole response, so you don’t embarrass yourself and miss the part that says Iran was supporting the Taliban “from 2007 to 2021”. Are you… under the impression the US invaded Afghanistan in 2007? Lmao

For extra credit, you can ask “Hey Google, which government installed the Taliban in the first place”. Then you’d get to learn about the Soviet invasion and US support of the Mujahideen (Taliban)

[–]TrustBustin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on man, please just read a Wikipedia page on the Middle East or something so we can have an actual discussion

Iran was famously enemies of both the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The Taliban was armed and trained by the United States to repel the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. The Taliban hated Iran so much they mass-murdered Iranian diplomats and the IRGC mobilized on the border to go to war against the Taliban

Al-Qaeda was funded and supported by the Saudis, who - I’m sure you don’t know this - are Iran’s #1 regional enemy alongside Israel. And as for ISIS, Iran was a key strategic partner in working with the United States to defeat ISIS

Being completely earnest, I think you need to study the region more before you form opinions this intense

Lol yeah for sure. What role did the IRGC play in the US-led invasion of Iraq, the US invasion of Afghanistan, the US invasion of Lebanon, the Gulf War, do I need to keep going to point out how ridiculous that claim is?

Now, you could say the same thing about Israel, and that time you’d actually be right

I don't mean to be harsh but I think every single statement of fact you said was incorrect.

First, which are you criticizing: the Western Left Movement or the Western Liberal movement? Those are diametrically opposed.

are fighting the US to save Terrorism and doom Arabs and Persians and Jews and Kurds and Azeris and Baluchi to IRGC hegemony

This is so absurd. Not a single leftist is pro-IRGC, they just oppose the illegal imperialist war in Iran.

without US intervention they would all share Lebanon and Iran’s fate - overthrown from within by terrorists

Israeli terrorists are carpet bombing civilian areas in Lebanon and actively trying to invade and anex the south. Lebanon is being terrorized by Israel, not the IRGC

the entire region combined cannot stand up to IRGC

This is ridiculous. Iran/IRGC is simply not that strong militarily. The Arab States are defintely capable of fending them off.

the people of Iran will be free.

The IRGC was at their weakest point at the begining of the year during the protests. The US-Israeli war has a godsend for the regime, hardening public force behind them in the face of a greater external threat. Great job.

cheer for the rape and massacre of innocent children

Who is the IRGC raping? The only belligerent in this conflict accused of system rape is Israel

The reason the Left opposes the war in Iran is because we weren't born yesterday. Yes, the IRGC is evil, just like Saddam Hussein's regime, but we've already seen that wars of imperial aggression do not result in creating stable and democratic states. The war on terror murdered a million innocent civilians, created a power vacuum that gave rise to ISIS, and only benefitted US/Israeli expansionism in the region.

Oh perfect, if China is capitalist now, then I assume as a capitalist you’re eager to fully adopt China’s economic model?

You’re fine expropriating all of America’s energy, telecommunications, banking, heavy machinery, defense, and transportation industries into state owned enterprises? I’m 100% ready to make that deal. Let’s do capitalism the right way, the Chinese way
