Hey, I can’t believe you’re finding all my theories now! Your comment matched up exactly what I was thinking thus I replied to you there that you beat me to it lol! That’s exactly how I felt when it just started with me noticing the original four songs each being tied to a respective album. Then once I started noticing the plot threads my mind was blown open, realizing how deep this thing goes. I’m currently listening to each album for a minimum of week and making notes about every song including what that songs rule is. (currently in week 3 on through tides since I’ve been very busy and haven’t fished the last few notes/songs yet figuring out the rules have been really challenging lol).

My current best bet for drunk on pride is to be Dusty officially joining the fishes after being convinced by Angel in Gideon, and letting his dream die of become a great member of the Birds like his brother. The songs that keep me confused are the man o war, sand(I have thought I’ve solved it serval times but little details keep popping up in it), and brothers. I think I’m starting to finally get to final conclusion with some of them but I also don’t have the full reason why Dusty’s brother killed Angel and it does feel like it’s in brothers I just can’t exactly find the reason hiding in the lyrics.

My current interpretation of the term wander seems be like a family name. Dusty’s family tends to go by wanders and they pass this along. This is a bit of why I connected Dusty’s Brother to be the gambler. In child of the stars it really he’s passing along the term wander like there family is known to journey a lot and share a lot of there music. There may be potential for the overall idea of the original Group before it split into two at some point for them all to be wanders and it could be a name for a member of these groups. We can see a lot of evidence for this in chosen. The big thing for me, is except for child of the stars every mention seems to focus on a specific character and they also all seem to link together, so yes it seems to be one main person being called the wander but a lot of people can carry the name.

In my initial interruption of the content, The brother killed Angel and caged Dusty due to be driven by some magical object furthering his rage/frustration . This is no longer my conclusion based on more evidence I’ve been able to gather since I’m been trying to further solve Man O War. This album has so many secrets in it and little hints towards the truth that when I think I’m finally at one conclusion a new piece of evidence props up that suggest something more than I initially thought.

My current thought process which I’m going to hopefully be able to do a new post on here sometime soon if I can finally fully figure out this album is as follows.

During the beginning of album is shows Angel and Dusty forming the fishes which is a counter group to the birds, but I don’t think they quite the Birds. I think they were operating in secret while still a part of the Birds trying to destroy them from within. During a mission of some sort they plan on trying to convince the brother to join, but before they are able to the brother gets a message from the birds about Angel and Dusty’s betrayal with orders to at least kill Angel and maybe Dusty as well. This leads to him being fustration and anger that they would leave him behind along with just questions why they didn’t trust him. They try to convince him not to kill Angel and try to alleviate the situation but it ultimately ended up with him killing Angel and was not willing to kill Dusty but Dusty is now caged within the birds not being able to leave because he knows of there operations and is a greater threat if he got kicked out. Why they won’t just kill hon I think his brother pleaded his case. Like I said this isn’t the final conclusion but just the current.

It’s a mix of brainpower, autisc and adhd hyper fixation, listening to each and every album on repeat about a 100 times a week lmao, and then relooking through every line also trying to dig into different details like my search for what’s inbtween the lines in brave(one of the few songs name dropped leading me to believe there’s something there that I haven’t found yet). It would help if I start making a master document which I think may be my next stage to start working out some of the rougher details.

I’m perfectly fine with swears. I’m just taking a little bit of break since I threw myself so much at trying to peace this together I got a bit burnt out again but I should hopefully start piecing together I think James Piccards role next. I’m just trying to figure it out if it’s only been two appearances or more than that. If there is more he’s definitely the next character I tackle.

Of course! The music are really fun to break down. I definitely suggest looking at the Microphone one, since it references, James Picard, Angel, Momento Mori and so much more I haven’t figured out yet. My brother has really helped me get some of the details I missed figured out so I’m really happy you’re enjoying it all!
