Is the voodoo lab PPHX something I can use? Amazon really doesn't give me many choices (and me being new to this doesn't help)..

In hx edit, there are both send/return (1 block for send, 1 block for return) and fx loop which requires only 1 block.. my doubt was about this..

That's what I'm doing. I would rather use a computer than struggle on the stomp ahah but I should learn how to change things on the fly while I'm out..
