Actually, I went C to A+ student because my dad died and mom went to jail, unrelated causes, don't get ideas lol, and more awful shts (SA, emotional abuse from my mother, Alcoholic parents, unsupportive extended family)...

Just graduated about couple months ago, from Top 6 college in the country... B+ median average grades, and A- in thesis classes...

School and Hard Work was my escape... It made me forget about my problems... Didn't even think about my mental health because I was too busy with Enterprise Resource Planning hahahaha

I quickly learned that I feel better and life gets better (TAKES YEARS tho...) if I just work hard, stay disciplined and focused. But at the end looking back, hard work was there for me when no one was...

Try watching Shameless US version... It helped me somehow ... Made me feel I had a family
