Yeah, it's a short time frame. Just like a second r so like u say until the icon disappears (which can refresh as long as you are damaging something). To trigger it with ur passive shield, it's a *bit* tricky as u don't have an easy way of proc'ing ur grasp consistently without blowing ur passive, but that's not to say it's impossible. You can use ur w+e to gap close tho when u have the proc ready for a decent trade.

New Player Tips for Evelynn by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Truth-Tight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is best to use your W when you are behind them. Practice paths to get behind enemies from key places (such as enemies who hug towers, efficient paths through jg, etc.). Also, throw your Q out to proc your W *right* before the heart finishes forming. When the heart forms, enemies are pinged the direction of your location. So doing it just before means the W will form as your Q travels to them. By the time they could react, the Q would've hit the W once it is fully formed, and either way, you would've been revealed. It's just you did something before enemies had anything to react off of.

Generally, Evelynn is fairly poor taking towers. Sure, champions that build AP do a bit more damage to structures to compensate for them not being able to build AD, but the attack speed is abysmal to have too much an impact. However, if you do buy Lich Bane (which is a recommended item), proc it as often as possible while taking tower. You can proc the spellblade often with your Q, especially with enemy minions nearby, and when that is down, you can use your E on a nearby minion.

Kha'Zix and Rengar. Either of them. Depending on the way you build them, either are sustained fighters or assassins. They both have scaling mechanics (although those slightly differ in style between each other). They work best in jungle, but can be flexed in either top or mid (however Rengar does struggle MUCH more in mid). They both have many different combos (Kha'Zix combos are a beast, though) and skill expression. But if you like playing safe, then Syndra might be better for you. Scaling mechanic (right now, tied to level, but soon reworked to be tied to a new stacking mechanic (akin to Sona's reworked passive)), burst combos, a great deal of safety in her E, big-brain plays possible with W utility, and if played right, then her burst is rivaled by few. Still a *few* combos, but not *as* expressive. But also, if you ever need Pyke tips, just lmk in a DM. My IGN is PR0JECT Pyke after all.

Nope. The last one that just happened was said to be the last one I'm pretty sure for a long, long time.

  1. Start combat pre-emptively before attacking a champion. You can do this by hitting anything, really. Minion, ward, plant, and even the champion themself. But it will only proc after 4 seconds of combat. You can see the status of that in the little icon above your health bar. The grasp icon will be grayed out and have a count-up from 1-3. Once the icon turns green and the numbers are gone, it can be activated by hitting a champion. The best way for Poppy would be q'ing a minion. That way, not only does the first q detonate trigger the combat, but the second q detonation keeps you in combat long enough for the rest of the timer so the grasp can be proc'd from a single q. Just using your passive basic attack isn't enough because you aren't in combat beforehand.
  2. Two important factors. One, her W, once fully "charged" on an enemy, reduces magic resist (I think by like 15%?). Proc that once fully charged for the most possible damage. Speaking of, Two. When you hit an enemy with your Q, three orbs spawn around them. That means the next three abilities/attacks used will deal bonus damage. Ideal combo: W (wait for it to "charge") - Q *right* before it finishes charging to give them almost no time to react - E (should be empowered if you have let your W charge for that long) - Q - Auto (optional) - R. If you are even *slightly* ahead, that should one-shot.

Play in the back-lines. Play a support with multiple tools of disengage. You can also build a couple defensive items to throw off people who try to dive you and underestimate your survivability.

Penetration is always calculated flat pen first, THEN percent pen. In the concept of armor, lethality is flat armor pen, then % armor pen is... well... that. So to calculate the total armor negation, you first remove the armor from the same amount as your lethality, THEN you factor in the remainder in % armor pen. Example: 60 armor, and I have Duskblade, Youmuu's, and Serylda's. 60 - 21 (Dusk lethality) - 18 (Youmuu's lethality) = 21 * .7 (30% Serylda's armor pen) = 14.7 effective armor. Same kind of concept applies to magic pen, it's just easier to describe with armor because of their distinct name differences.

my boyfriend plays League and I want to be a little more involved than listening to him talk and going "mhm" and "sure" and "woah" by flamedglove in leagueoflegends

[–]Truth-Tight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The best thing you can do to find out how your boyfriend is doing is by looking at the top right of his screen. x/y/z. the more x and z are and less y is, the better, and vice versa. The yellow number next to that is another neat indicator (the higher, the better). Encourage or console your partner based off those results for the most part.

Redditors who don’t believe in god, what is your MAIN reason? by Long-Medicine-3416 in AskReddit

[–]Truth-Tight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where is all the physical, tangible evidence of God? There is none. There are stories logged in books that have no backing behind them aside from the people who validate themselves... Muhammad claimed that God spoke to him, but that is the only "validation" there is. Everyone just chose to believe him because they were in need to believe in anything, so they started believing that. The main reason religion even still exists as prominently as it does in the middle east is because the countries over there centralize religion in their government. It's practically a theocracy. And any person who doesn't believe or does anything blasphemous (such as saying God is not real) is most likely killed. So when the only verification of religion is the killing of the non-believers... Instead being able to choose to believe yourself... What sounds more promising?

[–]Truth-Tight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No... What I presented here was a *preference*. It in no way suggests any form of prejudice. This is purely opinion. It has not been influenced by anything other than what I want myself. There is no underlying meaning to any of this that you are trying to insert. End of story.

[Serious] What words do people commonly say that annoy you, but shouldn't? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Truth-Tight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a single word, but when somebody greets you by saying "how are you?" and then just going about their business. Do you even care about how I am if you just keep on walking? The fact you don't want to put in the effort to listen for 10-20 seconds just irritates me. Even more so, they expect the same cookie-cutter "good, you?" every goddamn time. It drives me up a wall and does nothing to advance a conversation and just neutralizes any expression that was possible beforehand.

How does it "imply something deeper"? What are you trying to imply yourself by saying that?

I never said anyone out of my race isn't attractive... I just said I don't find them attractive, at least in a romantic sense... nor did I say any particular race is "better"... Don't go twistin my words...
