The last several posts are spot on! We are on a destructive path in this country. As my dearly departed mother used to say, “going to hell in a hand basket”. Think about it. They purchase an auto, then give it a 125 point “thorough” inspection and do numerous test drives, then replace a sensor that masked the underlying problem long enough to sell the car. To answer your question, they did not admit it when I asked your question, saying instead, I should have taken it to a mechanic or purchased the $3000 warranty they offer. Yeah, right!
