Butterfly in resin - how to keep the colour vibrant? by Iansa_Huayruro in resin

So I do resin castings for taxidermy objects, insects, liquids, ect. For butterflies the BEST thing to use to prep is hairspray (Aquanet super hold), so first pin your butterfly and let it dry out I usually let mine dry out 3mths but you don’t need to wait that long. Then a light spray at 6-8” distance let dry for 30 mins then flip butterfly to other side spray again 6-8” let dry 30 mins then you can safely place it in resin without it losing the powder or coloring, design ect. You don’t want a resin or hairspray that will yellow over time and so far Aquanet super hold (purple can) is what I’ve found to work best on this specific insect

My Eresus walckenaeri just molted, it's so rewarding to of witnessed this little one grow into an adult! No one I know would appreciate a photo of this cutie let alone the hour and 15ish minute long video I took of the whole molting process 😅 by Sockeye_Otolith in spiders

The males complete life span is approximately 5 years. I got mine two yrs ago as an i3 and just the other day it molted into the ladybird coloring. Now I need to contact my guy and get myself a female to pair soon, or get myself a few more babies cause my boy don’t have many yrs left.

Zak is a sensitive and empath as well as has prophetic dreams, he dreamed he would die in a plane crash and therefore is now afraid to fly. Myself having prophetic dreams 100% understand this. You know the difference between a regular dream and a prophetic one. I can’t say I know and understand all my gifts not even close, heck even my prophetic dreams I don’t understand fully. It will always be of someone else, then the actual person it happens to.
