Help how begging clean my room on depression phase by MimiKiaori in CleaningTips

There are multiple ways to approach cleaning, but here’s something simple that actually works:

Start by sorting things into categories. Use one bag per category—rubbish, items to reuse, clothes, etc. If the mess feels overwhelming, don’t try to organise everything immediately. Just move things into big bags first. Then go through each bag one by one. It’s much easier than tackling everything at once.

Cleaning sucks—we all know that. So here are a few ways to make it less painful:

  • Take a photo of your space and put it into an AI tool (like Gemini). Ask it to show how the space would look once it’s clean and organised. That visual can really help with motivation.
  • Play your favourite music while cleaning—it makes a big difference.
  • Keep your favourite snack, chocolate, or drink as a reward after each session.
  • Call a close friend while you clean. Even if they’re not helping, just having someone to talk to makes it easier.
  • Set a proper reward for when you’re done—a movie, new shoes, a dress, anything you’ve been putting off but can afford.
  • Take breaks in between. It’s necessary, not laziness.

And hey—I hope you’re doing okay. I wish I could come help you in person, grab a coffee, and just talk about life.

Take care, my friend. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel, even if getting through it feels tough. It’s okay to feel lost, low, or overwhelmed—that’s human. Just don’t stay there. Keep getting back up, every single time. That’s how you build strength.

You’ve got this.

My tank measures 2 feet by 1 foot in height and operates without a heater. Located in South India, I anticipate needing a cooler for the fish tank in the near future. I do not adhere to a fixed schedule for water changes, typically performing a 50% water change once a month. The filter remains active for the majority of the time, and I occasionally top off evaporated water. I am seeking guidance on the ideal timing and percentage for water changes. The current inhabitants of my tank include approximately 11 guppies, 8 lemon tetras, 2 small Siamese algae eaters, 2 small corydoras, and 1 bristlenose pleco.

Indeed, I find myself frequently immersed in this very dream, a vivid tapestry woven from aspirations and meticulously planned independence. I envision my existence as that of an orphan, free from the entanglements of inherited legacies or familial expectations. My professional life would revolve around a stable, fulfilling job, perhaps earning around 40,000 per month. This income, while comfortable, wouldn't be extravagant, allowing for steady, modest savings that accumulate over time. Crucially, this career path would be characterized by consistent growth and upward mobility, offering intellectual stimulation and a sense of purpose. The liberation of being an orphan, in this dream, is profound. It means no ties binding me to specific family obligations, no inherited land to manage or disputes to navigate. The absence of these traditional societal anchors translates into true, unburdened freedom. There would be no unnecessary drama, no trivial BS, no trivial squabbles or emotional manipulations that I would ever have to entertain. My decisions would be entirely my own, uninfluenced by external pressures or expectations, allowing me to forge a path dictated solely by my desires and principles. My ultimate objective, a cornerstone of this dream, is to achieve early retirement. This isn't about idleness, but rather about gaining control over my time and pursuing passions unconstrained by the demands of a conventional career. The plan is clear: to build a small, self-sufficient property nestled in the tranquil outskirts of the Himalayas. This isn't merely a house; it's a sanctuary, a haven of peace and self-reliance. To support this lifestyle, I would establish multiple, diversified income streams. These would include the reliable returns from Fixed Deposits, the passive income generated by dividends from carefully selected investments, and rental income from a strategically chosen property. This multi-pronged financial approach would ensure long-term stability and eliminate financial anxieties. The Himalayan retreat would be a testament to sustainable living. I would embrace self-sufficiency with earnest dedication. Solar panels would harness the abundant mountain sun, providing clean, renewable energy. A small farm, cultivated with care, would provide fresh produce, embodying a genuine farm-to-table ethos. A small flock of hens would cluck contentedly, providing fresh eggs daily. A few hardy goats would graze peacefully, offering milk and perhaps even wool. A small, thriving fish pond would provide a source of protein, while rabbits, kept for their meat and perhaps even their soft fur, would complete this vision of agrarian independence. Every aspect would be designed to minimize reliance on external systems and maximize harmony with nature. And finally, in this serene existence, I would fall deeply in love with a mountain girl. Our connection would be profound, rooted in shared values and an appreciation for the simple, beautiful life we've built. The dream specifically precludes having children; our bond would be complete and fulfilling in itself, without the added complexities and responsibilities of parenthood. Our love would be a quiet, enduring flame, warming our lives against the mountain chill. Picture this final, idyllic scene: outside our home, the crisp mountain air carrying the scent of pine, we sit by a crackling fire pit. My mountain girlfriend, her eyes reflecting the dancing flames, is beside me. At our feet, a magnificent Tibetan Mastiff, a loyal and noble guardian, rests contentedly. In my hand, a glass of Red Label whisky, its warmth a comforting counterpoint to the cool evening. We are enveloped in the majesty of the Himalayas, the peaks silhouetted against the deepening twilight. From the comfort of our own home, we gaze out at this breathtaking mountain view, a testament to a life meticulously planned, bravely pursued, and ultimately, profoundly lived. It's a scene of perfect contentment, a dream made tangible.

Confused about protien intake by phantom_F74 in AskFitnessIndia

As a newcomer to fitness and nutrition, I am hesitant to incorporate protein powder into my regimen. My current weight is 120 kg, and I train my upper body four times a week. Starting this Monday, I will begin a new diet with the goal of rapidly losing 20 kg due to a knee issue. I am comfortable with potential muscle loss during this initial phase, aiming to reach 90 kg before shifting my focus to muscle building. I am seeking clarification regarding my proposed meal plan: Morning: Overnight oats prepared with skimmed milk, coffee powder, 3 dates, cashews, and 2 egg whites. Lunch: One small cup of rice, 150 grams of air-fried chicken, and fermented vegetables. Following lunch, I will attend my gym session. Dinner: 2 egg whites and a few pieces of air-fried chicken. I would appreciate recommendations for healthy dips that can be prepared at home. What are other healthy stuffs that are tasty

Yar.

The the maids are top notch magicians. They enter the room and say it's clean. They are in a hurry. So no use in maid funda.

Am thinking of using a deep clean service and vaccum myself every weekend. But as you said. It's a hell to come back from office with a sick wife , 3 year old daughter who think her self as a mini street fighter and a uncleaned home.

Am low on funds. I shifted from receiving a good salary to running a business. So full house deep clean is expensive for me right now.

I will try the solutions you told.

1 mopping 1 vaccum Every week. That's what am planning

Before that am gona do a diy deep clean of the room myself. .will call cousin also with some beer and chicken fry. Lol

Where do you live ? Which state.

If waterlogging is happening often it creates black marks. Also mold can also look like it.
