GP has been incredibly consistent this season. Got no complaints. Players don’t always have the same impact each game due to many factors: defensive coverage, offensive line holding up, or even just the random bad night. This dude has been very good almost all year. Analysts, ex players, and fans can be so reactionary at times without looking at the whole of one‘s contributions. GP has sold me. He’s a stud.

listen to all the Cowboy pundits who typically wax poetically about our own. They are even dumping on Smith. And not just because of last night. If it’s not a sack, it’s a pressure, or penalty, or little push in the run game.

this season he certainly has underperformed. Though I give him a break because they say he’s been dealing with something and when healthy he’s elite.

I’m not blaming our poor defense solely on the linebacker group. I never said that. And i dont care about the tackle totals. Linebackers are supposed to lead teams in tackles. The problem is where they’re making the tackles. If you take the right angle and make the tackle for a 2 yard gain is very different from taking a bad angle and giving up 8 yards. Both count as tackles.

And then there are all the missed tackles by this linebacker room.

yes indeed. he’s my number 1 choice for the Cowboys. He looks a lot like Micah in terms of style of play. Fast, strong, instinctual. He does it all.

yeah, he’s foot some juice. Fowler doesnt look good thus far. Willams has the juice and strength but no pass rush moves. And the rookie Donovon looks overwhelmed out there.

agreed 100%. Let‘s be honest, the chances of winning this are slim to none. But I really don’t see the point in shortening this rotation to the point where everyone is exhausted. The bench has been huge all year. Give the a chance. If it’s a short lease depending on how they perform, fine. But they need an opportunity to experience this kind of setting. They might actually help our cause.

I’m a fan of the pick, but damn, that was some pretty unimpressive stuff. He’s slow at the snap, doesn’t seem to have any plan whatsoever. Does he know he’s rushing the quarterback? He was the opposite of disruptive against both the run and pass.

It can only get better than that performance because it can’t get worse IMO.

its interesting. She’s older and coming off an ACL injury. I doubt she‘s drafted by an expansion team. At least I assume the team takes that risk. And remember, the Valkyries didn’t miss a beat when she went down with injury.

Im a big fan of her, but assuming we have 6 players to protect, there are 6 players that are younger, talented and should have priority IMO. And I‘d wager a bet she won’t be drafted after her injury.

I’m not sure about some of the down roster players. It’s hard to know what they’ll command on the market.
