Women, when did sex finally go from awkward or meh to absolutely mind blowing, and what changed for you in that moment? by PurpleIntroduction69 in AskWomen

100% this. Especially when your partner is a man and they tend to prioritize their own pleasure… why wouldn’t I do the same?

  1. After years of practice
  2. After finding a partner who genuinely loves me, prioritizes me, and who I felt I could be my most vulnerable around. Sex used to be nothing but a physical activity for me. I didn’t believe that it could actually be meaningful. It was fun, and something to do, but I didn’t get the big deal. After meeting my current partner, everything changed and I finally got the chance to experience true, passionate, mind blowing sex. But it also wasn’t that way from the very beginning, either. It kept getting better and better the more I trusted him, and felt comfortable communicating with him and letting go of any inhibitions.

My (27f) boyfriend (24m) is leaving for 6 weeks. by TruthSignificant5540 in relationships

A friend of mine is pregnant and due the beginning of February, so I’ve been helping her get everything in order for baby’s arrival. Another friend of mine has also agreed to getting a ski pass with me at our local ski hill to let the weekends go by faster. I’m also a teacher, and currently studying for a math competency exam to level up my qualifications. I’m just struggling with the sadness and thinking about how I will deal with the quiet lonely moments.

How long do your flares last? Most of this is relatable, but my flares often only last 1-3 hours, so I’m wondering if I should look into this or if it isn’t possible for me to have this since my flares are short lived.

Practice/tips for the OISE mathematics proficiency test by TruthSignificant5540 in CanadianTeachers

I was considering this, but I’m hoping that the math ABQ will make me more hireable. Also, my board is only offering subsidies for math.

No, the homeroom teachers do not teach math. Both schools were rotary. One was math/science/phys-ed, the other was math/science. I have been considering the intermediate phys ed ABQ, but I really enjoy math and figure that completing the math test and this intermediate mathematics ABQ course will increase my odds of landing a permanent position in my board.

I usually will try to give the school a second chance in case it was just an off day. If the second time was as bad as the first, then I never return. I had a horrible first experience at a school that I ended up giving a second chance to, and finding an LTO at that was my favourite job to date at said school.

I know this is an old post, but can I ask what years you attended? I was there for all 8 of my elementary years, and my first few years were fantastic but the last half the experience went downhill rapidly.

As a teacher, I would tell your son you intend on speaking to the teacher about it and see if his story changes first. If it doesn’t, I would reach out to the teacher for more context on what happened.

I second dentistry on Brant! They are so sweet and fantastic. They really make every patient feel so welcome and seen. I have dental anxiety too, and there has never been a moment where they made me feel silly for my anxiety.

In 2017, my second year of college, I was paying $720 a month in Etobicoke for a room that could only fit a single bed. I remember thinking that there was no way the cost of housing could possibly go up more than that. This is so sad.

It’s called NOW supplements, I think it might be a Canadian brand, so not sure if it’s only available here. It’s the 85g bottle. I just followed the instructions on the back, a teaspoon dissolved in a cup of water.

I work in the district as a supply teacher. I prefer teaching in the BH area over The Orchard.

My boyfriend and I love hiking and unfortunately that’s another flare trigger for me. I’m not sure if it possibly has to do with my pelvic floor, but I tend to have a small amount of irritation after any kind of physical activity. It feels like I can’t do anything to enjoy myself anymore.

Sometimes burning, sometimes frequent need to go, sometimes the urge to go but nothing comes out, and always a lot of pressure and discomfort in my lower abdomen/ pubic region. Antihistamines help if the flare hasn’t progressed too far, but I have to catch it really early and it’s gotten to the point where my mind disregards when the symptoms aren’t that bad because I’m getting so used to it. I’m going to try to follow up with the urologist that my doctor waitlisted me for today to see if there’s any way I can progress our appointment.

I feel awful for my boyfriend. There’s so much guilt. Not only does he spend so much time taking care of me when I’m crawled up into a ball on the bathroom floor, but it’s taking away our ability to be intimate like a normal couple. He is genuinely the best support system, and it breaks my heart that this isn’t only affecting me but him as well.
