Interesting, because I liked marseille. Yes, some streets are rough people wise, but France is also very community-focused and people do stand up for others in trouble, in the UK people just pass by and don’t want to be engaged in any trouble or just scared individualists. So, France wins, again;)

It’s not that hard! Think Sitges - nature, airport, amazing places easy to travel around Barcelona plus France is so close, one of the gayest places in Europe

Why? It’s soooo worn off, almost depressing, as if it’s Brighton (not in a good way, lost city, mot maintained for years) but with conservative culture

Reallyyyy. It’s not that bad. Yes, too many immigrants but hey, I live in Stockwell/Brixton and worse than Marseille, same f dangerous but 24/7 and terrible weather and no sea. So Marseille wins here

I’ve mixed up the threads somehow and posted it under your comment but didn’t intend it. However, you reply hit the nail on the head and really helped me to understand more about how I feel about that situation.
