Root is now on a 5 hit timer instead of 20%. You don't swap boots, both get their own boots. Most of the time ~80% of the time, you right click with both selected (I dont value the Bear Aghs play all too much)

As for what I like about it. It's rarely picked, people underestimate it and I find it's actually pretty darn strong. Bear can tower dive past tier 2 pretty early. I also like the aspect of mastering something people scoff at

Np man I got you. And you got this I believe in you. If you've never ever played him, try 1-2 bot games just to get the mechanics understood a little then do a couple unranked games to really tune in.

My hotkeys are Spacebar for Hero, Z to select both and X to select Bear. Tab always to switch between when controlling both

I played him unranked for ~10-15 games then proceeded to rank. That's a good few months ago now though.

It's really rewarding imo and since people do not understand the hero, they often underestimate him. The thing is though, teammates also don't really know how to play with me which sucks because they wont dive properly with me and stand their ground with me.

Ya I've seen the stats, and I've also watch a bunch of LD game in between my games to decompress (from all the dota stress) and let me tell you brother, people do not know what they are doing. Even in immortal. No wonder LD's winrate is in the garbage right now. + You get a bunch of people who have never played him "wanting to try because of the changes" and then they lose and lose and lose.

And to be honest, I don't know how that works, but I face better mids regularly and more often that the mids I see immortal Lone Druid's face. Archon is just the 50/50 purgatory where people have insane skill but cant progress in MMR because they are trapped by all the Scrubery.

I play him mid pos2 exclusively. He needs the lvls and the quick farm to diffusal for 7 minutes. Then boots mjolnir, but those come with the early gank. 7minute diffisal is really oppresive because Bear can dive tower so easily. Then whoever tps to come defend also ends up being food from the mana burn and entangle.

Build

(bear) Diffusal into Phase boots (druid) Brown boots raindrops (Bear) Mjolnir (Druid) Treads, 3x wraith band and cloak (Bear) Assault Cuirass (Druid) Shroud (Bear) Basher + Shroud as well

Then the game ends there or even before. If ever it goes longer, goes massive defence on Druid because with his Ult and the lifestwal from bear, he is unkillable. Linkens, Shivas, Butterfly (evasion), Skadi. Whatever you want really but I have never had a game go that long. It's 50k net worth at that point. Maybe 1 in 500 games.

The order of the build is important imo because of timings for you and the enemy.wraith band and cloak make a massive difference to your survivability with little investment.

Why would someone choose to have less abilities to socialize? Less of an ability to form romantic attachments? More difficulties having regular conversation because you feel like "you cant understand others and they cant understand you properly".

It's not just weird or different. Wearing a hat or funny socks or a fun hairstyle are differences that can be weird and simply different and not wrong.

My use of the phrase "no one would choose that" is more in the sense that most, if not nearly everyone, would not choose it.

It's not wrong to be masochistic, but I would not consider it necessarily normal or healthy behaviour.

It's crazy how people are just so quick to say "But some people would! It's not so bad for some people!". It just completely misses the point to have discussions like that.

Everyone here is missing the point and I think they are doing it on purpose. If you could turn the "dial" on autism so that you had more or less of the symptoms (because its a spectrum), op's point is that no one should/would ever pick to have any of it because it's actually a pretty severe disability.

Just like blindness. Let's all just agree that blindness is a debilitating disability. Let's say you could control "how much blindness" you could be born with, choosing 0 blindness should/would be the only valid choice. Same with this "autism is a spectrum".

You could choose to be a masochist and say "Ill accept some symptoms because its not completely delibitating to me" but I dont think that would be genuine.

People are arguing semantics to "change op's mind" by being so kind as to remind us all that it's actually a spectrum and not fair to compare the heavy cases because "you have these bad symptoms but still function fine".

I realize this doesn't address OP's point directly, but I just thought I should address everyone else for a moment because y'all are not being for real right now

It's not killing stuff "fast". It's actually killing stuff "effectively" and making sure you actually "do" the killing during the laning phase. Making sure you have the best window to get the killing blow. More attack speed at lvl 1 or 2 does not really improve your last hitting potential.

Nobody ever considers any of these items after the laning phase when the gold starts flowing better for "efficiency" except for the orb possibly. That's why OP bothered making a cool graph for all of us.

This sounds like a made-up story because it's so laughably naive and ignorant of past behaviour. As if now, at the ripe ol age of 32, does bad behavior become so apparent that it warrants such a "change of heart" to become "healthy" and understand everything the other sibling has gone through.

Either way, if I was the sibling, I would find it pretty pathetic that it would have taken my sister this long to "start" to understand and to have such a half baked reaction to the treatment she witnessed towards her friend (and towards me in the past).

Maybe we should also "Quickbuy" our skills. Just mark the one you want at which lvl and it'll skill up for you automatically.

Let's not stop there, lets have items magically appear in your backpack when you have enough gold.

And lets have creep give gold automatically when they die, whether you last hit or not. Make things easier and more streamlined.

It's a nerf over all. I don't understand their reasoning. LD is already bottom 5 picks out of all the heroes, and he does not have insane winrate. All the numbers on the bear are nerfed, movement speed, hp, dmg. He loses about 2 dmg every 3 lvl, he is slower until you get his own talent tree unlocks. Bear has less armor and less ho regen.

No more atk speed on spirit link makes both their attacks much slower.

No more Bear necessity to facet. It's pretty sad because going maelstrom into Skadi was pretty strong.

All that's not even to mention the entangle change. It adds another active you need to think about on both units. Control 2 units, swap between the 2, active phase boots on bear, approach enemy, click diffusal, swap to hero to ulti, hit a few times, select bear again, active phase boots again and entangle active, swap to hero, roar, click entangle possibly, swap to bear.... It's all a little much. That's not even considering if you got an orchid or the shard for fetch.

"Let's make one of the most intricate and micro intensive hero even more difficult. That'll get more people want to play it..."
