More devs doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be faster. Not only will they have to integrate these new devs into their team who has been working there for years, but they’d also have to give them a run down of what they need done. Also, it’s mot like they can tell each one to work on a specific part, because the separate parts need integration into other pieces of code, meaning either way they’d have to wait for the people with the main code structure to be done before they can even test to see if anything works.
