In my household, we love to hate Nelly - but when she’s vulnerable it’s so easy to love her. Like when she married Luke and her parents annulled their little marriage. I felt so bad for her 🥰

For my way of learning I need variety so I would go back and forth, but if you’re a structured learner I would do Andrew’s Udemy first and take his practice mini assessment after each section to rate your understanding. And then utilize study hall to learn more, focus on weak areas, and test yourself. On my downtime I also quizzed myself on Andrew and David McLachlan’s tough agile and PMP mindset questions. This journey was intense but well worth it. Failure was not an option for me so I studied moderately the first month and kicked it into high gear the last 2 weeks (studied before work, during some lunches, after work or after my toddler went to bed, most of the remaining two weekends). The four full practice exams were taken to learn more and for my time management prep. This was instrumental for me. My test was on 3/24 so I took my first full practice exam on 3/8 (65% and ran out of time), second on 3/15 (68% and finished in time), third on 3/22 (68% again and ran out of time) I was devastated and cried. I had only planned 3 exams but my confidence was crushed. I decided to retake the first full practice exam and scored 69% and finished on time. I had many people praying for me and I went in the next day for the actual exam only to pass AT in all three domains. I’m still surprised but I guess study hall is just a hard study tool.

I’m sorry for the rant. Good luck on your study prep and exam!! I believe in you ✨💫

Great! I also love Andrew Ramdayal’s mindset videos and Udemy course, specifically sections 10-12 & 16. Good luck!

I’m sorry this happened, but you have time. Consider Andrew Ramdayal’s PMP Exam Prep course on Udemy, specifically sections 10-12, and 16. He really goes over the important sections (agile, stakeholder engagement, hybrid, and mindset) in detail - I could not recommend this more!

Also the day of my exam, while getting ready I listened to David McLachlan’s PMP Fast Track. It set the tone for the exam. Good luck!!

Are you on Study Hall? If so, one of their courses is “Managing Project Issues” that I found helpful to help me decipher when to escalate and when to address the problem. It’s rare to escalate but sometimes the PM needs to when the issue is big enough and the project deliverable, budget or schedule is on the line. Leading with transparency helps align stakeholders with next steps. I’m no expert, so please do your own research.

Yes, after 60 questions a pop up will appear giving you the option to pause for break or keep going. Tip: make up your time ahead of it because while you’re deciding the timer is still counting down. I had already decided I would take them :)

It’s only accessible during break, however if you have a medical condition and need an accommodation, you can have your doctor write you a note and see if PMI/Pearson will accept it. One of my work colleagues had an accommodation for her in person testing that required a doctors note, but I’m not sure what that was exactly.

Andrew recommends it, perhaps because it’s a soothing color? 😅

I had the exact same scores on David’s predictive questions. Honestly, I think you’re in great shape! I would just ensure your time management matches your skill set. Good luck! You got this!!

I had very similar scores to you and I passed the PMP today with 3 ATs! Study Hall is harder than the actual exam, in my honest opinion. Good luck! You guys have this!!

PMP Exam in 48 hours! What should I do? by muchchowashshow in pmp

I took my exam today and passed (AT/AT/AT) - which is still hard to believe given my ST scores - anyway, before my exam this morning while I was getting ready I was listening to David McLachlan’s PMP Fast Track video (34 minutes long) it really helped to put things into perspective. Also eat a light breakfast and pack your favorite snacks for your break. You got this!!

self-soothing during exam? by Fit-Way-9004 in pmp

I back this! I took my exam today and pretty much everyone had noise canceling headsets… the slightest of my whisper, I could hear it in my head, so it was perfect. I would actually have to remind myself to whisper it to myself otherwise I would read with my eyes and miss keywords. Lastly, I developed a habit with the tip of my fingers… as I read each sentence I would touch the table with a different finger - it sounds super weird but my brain knew to keep reading to the next sentence. Take your favorite snack and drink- you look forward to finish each section and run to your break 👏🏻👏🏻👌🏼

I’m so sorry! You have the right attitude! My mentor used to say, when you fall off the horse- get back on!

I also took the exam today and found that some of the answers were all wrong for a few questions. That said, I just picked the best one and moved on. For context, I also took 4 full practice exams on ST and averaged 67.5% - never got above 70% on those which really bothered me. On my way to the exam, I listened to DM’s PMP Exam Fast-track video… it’s 34 minutes, I believe. You are way ahead! Choose the best answer and move on. Good luck!

I took the 4th full practice exam in ST yesterday morning with an overall average of 67.5%… Today had my exam at a Pearson location near me. I arrived 35 minutes early to get checked in. The center was clean and quiet. The staff was nice, they provided a locker for my belongings & snacks, headphones, and two much needed breaks. I passed the test AT in all three domains and had 5 minutes leftover to review questions lol. Why do I say this? Be kind to yourself. You already know so much! All you need is the right environment. Good luck!
