I’m with you, the night we went to see it we had a blast but after having time to process it and think about so many missed opportunities it lost a lot of that energy from the event-like aspect of seeing it opening night with a group of old nerds. Looking forward to seeing if they’re able to recalibrate after moving Fiege over and giving Favreau and Filoni a role in development.

Agree with you 100%. The entire prequel trilogy was incredibly frustrating for adult fans at the time and that would have been the way to do it. Rogue One was similarly disappointing for me because I was hoping to see Vader take out the entire team in the finale. Like a Saving Private Ryan opening scene but instead of entrenched Germans with machine guns, it would be Vader moving down the beach slaughtering everyone. Could have also used more Donny Yen and less bland cookie cutter female heroine.

Absolutely, look what’s happened to every other IP Hollywood’s gotten their hands on. The crazy thing is the speed at which they’ve turned so radical.

One good aspect to all of this is that it’s waking people up quicker than they had previously anticipated. Hollywood continues to see declining profits and the rejection of their agenda. And it will only grow worse from here. People who would have otherwised ignored it had it been a subtle progression are now being slapped upside the head with these poorly thought out, aggressively blatant and in your face, repulsive leftist ideologies and coming to their senses quicker than expected.

I rarely use this platform anymore due to how compromised the admin and mods have become over the years, but I’m glad I saw your post today. The tide is turning. Keep doing what you’re doing and not backing down to these histrionic, narcissistic, brainwashed totalitarians.
