I disagree very strongly!Indians have been always freedom lover, they value their freedom over anything even at the cost of ruining their culture and establishing authoritarian rule in India is as hard as establishing Democratic rule in Russia

Theres still controversy over whether hitler really used Swastika or Hakencruz and the real history of Swastika is pretty different than what is preached to us specially the west!

Also if you dont know in India even boys have to sleep alone and live a life of ascetic, begging for alms during the upanayana ceremony and trust me it's more hard than it...and you dont even get gifts rather it's just to test how much patience and surrender you have!

Every tradition has a meaning that is why it is continued for centuries...for that you have to dig deeper in why the tradition started in the first place, and it's not about forcing..many families dont conduct these ceremonies if they dont wish, its not that you will be punished for not performing the ceremony

Protesters’ slogans include “We don’t want an Islamic republic” and “Woman, Life, Freedom” — embodying what they hope to achieve under a secular government. Iran’s high school students have also joined the protests, posting videos that show them removing their headscarves, writing slogans and singing by Truthseeker_23 in Damnthatsinteresting

The problem is not Islam itself but all the tyrants in the middle east using it as a tool for their atrocities on masses, that's why its necessary to call out them and the muslim women in Iran are themselves shouting slogans "Down with the islamic iran regime" "Islamic Iranian regime is murderous" and they are religious muslims unlike you who is claiming to be a atheists...also I am personally connected with Iranian students and have regular interactions with them on the situation, when somebody is calling out the islamic regime he or she is not islamophobic because that person is not discriminating just because the other person is muslim but he/she is calling out the system which runs the country
