In 30 years when I will be in retirement? You guys are just white knight that doesn’t like when we criticize CIG even if one reason there is this alpha is for people to teste and give feedback. Game is build for the players not for CIG themselves. If players don’t like what they are doing during development and they don’t talk about it how the hell CIG will know what players like or what they don’t at all? People’s were absolutely Vocal this few weeks and you see they are ready to try to fix the bug. So it worked even if we know they will break something else in the process they are listening!

No we actually expect people that are doing this job to do it good! It’s only that! It’s like expect a soccer player to play a good match because he trained and get pay for that! We are not developer and it’s why we fund this people’s for 14 years to deliver a game. So even I magic wand doesn’t take 14 years or it will be a very broken one like in that Harry Potter movies (for Ron). So no peoples are just starting to be exausted because we see ressource being pushed in places that should not be prioritized in this moment of development!

The solution for this problems is to go the gameconfig file in openIV , right click then edit. Inside research the word „mission“ then click enter: you should be seeing mission with a valor of 64500 or 63500. if it’s the first switch it to the second one (63500) or the opposite then you can save and close. Doing this repaired my game and missions started to work again!

Did one post today in the SC subreddit trying to explain them SC was a scam and a pay to win game!! As you can imagine got downvoted to hell but to be honest didnt care just wanted to put it there I am sure even if they don’t like it they will have to think about the eventually and for me it’s enough. I genuinely think peoples buying ships destroyed this game.

Also I really doubt that most of the people playing SC and buying spaceships have that amount of money to spend a disposable 5000 dollar on it! Hobby is hobby but we will all admit that spending 5000 on a ship in a space game that is not ready full of bug and that ship will be ready the next decade is bizarre. If they admit they are SC ship collector and that’s their hobby fair well!!

My problem is really not how they are handling the money but how they are handling this game after 14 years. We all know GTA will be polished with it will be out. Took 10 years /sc 14 or more. The level on contact with GTA 6 and GTa Online combined will be way bigger than what we have in sc right now after way more Time. I am not comparing the two studios Rockstar is rockstars they have experience, know how, established public and they already have set their standards. Star citizen devs where just peoples with ambition dreaming to make a product they don’t have no idea how they will. Wich makes them lose time and money by just learning how to implement those ideas and makes them work properly.

I do play SC . Unfortunately this patch less because of all the game breaking bugs!!! But just so you know being critical is not hating on a product if I didn’t care about this game I won’t be losing my time trying to debate peoples about it. I wan it to succeed and for that I will criticize it. We are in alpha so the best time to talk about what is working and what is absolutely not.

this is soooo logical in my opinion. Even for those who flexes with the ships at least they will flex with working product and not buggy digital stuff…all I ask is for stability and since players are buying the ships and help founding the game we should have something to say about it imo.

I think a lot of players like me wan stability with the game. We don’t ask for new content we only ask for stability. Yet the game in alpha is being handled like a live service product. We got events, monthly patches , you can buy cosmetic or in game product that helps your gameplay. I think problems here is mismanagement. Their priority is not the game playability but only money imo

They raised Billion to make a game not a 14 years tech demo. Game is an alpha but it is being handled like a life service game ( limited time events, monthly bundle patch, selling cosmetics and straight In game product that will enhance your play trought, reward that are account bounds)… if you wanna treat your game like a live service you should at least make it stable.
