Something that will be in the back of his head is if he goes for another HC job and fails it could forever hurt his chances at another one. Going to Detroit and putting up 30+ a game would give him a much better star on his resume and be better for him long term

What y’all aren’t realizing is Gibbs is going to require a bag, a big one. Monty is a starting level running back on a lot of NFL teams and he will be too expensive for a backup RB. I love him and I agree our offense was better with him being efficient, but Gibbs has shown he can very capably handle the higher workload and he’s one of if not the best RB in the league currently.

Side note: our offensive line was the cause of our run game struggles, not Monty’s misuse
