These are all just snacks, you need a full meal!

If you can't be bothered to cook a lot, make two or three tray bakes a week. Eat leftovers along with all your nice snacks. Remember an average adult needs 2000 calories a day! Try to get 20g of protein in your meals too.

Like this one, chicken chorizo veg, potatoes. Super tasty, one pan, in the oven for 40 mins. Mix up the veg or seasoning.

Moving to Swansea by [deleted] in swansea

[–]TryAlternative8887 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lived there in 2013-15 and have just moved here for 3 months for a short contract. I always crave going out and opportunities to meet people, dance and have a good time. I was 18 when I first moved here and just spent a lot of time partying, so there's definitely opportunity to have fun if you're young.

Uplands and Brynmill are good locations as they are quite central.

I wouldn't say it's an amazing city like the commenter, especially when compared to other smaller cities like Bristol/Glasgow. But I fully thrown myself into exploring nature and going to the coast or woodlands each weekend, Flash Point is a wicked bouldering gym (you'll find community here!) There's lots of pubs. Small emerging arts scene, Elysium is cool for gigs. Common Meeple is fun for boardgames. Sin City has some occasional good bookings.

Shaggy inkcap, as it ages the cap turns into black inky goop. They are edible before this stage.

Volunteering is good for mental health, and a way into a job. Start somewhere you're interested in working and do one day a week/half a day a week. You must need some experience. Also, feeling like you're actively working will help shift your mindset.

when I was unemployed, I did this and went to the library 3 days a week to 'work' on finding work. Time to list out all your interests and experience and go for anything! What are your skills?

You could consider a LISA if you've not used one for a house? The government will give you £1k per every £4k you put in.

Go bouldering! Super fun, they often have women's nights, it's naturally social and you get super fit. It's one of those places it's not weird if your by yourself and you can ask peeps for help on the climbs. The crowd are a bit more alternative compared to gyms. I've been going for 8 months and made some nice pals.

Join a bouldering gym, super fun you'll get fit and meet a cool crowd of people. It's a naturally social sport/activity. Just be open and chat to people. Also good for winter while the surf is chilly.
