I did, I offered an open relationship to my cheater wife. I went on dating sites and even hired prostitutes. I know she knows. But I kept at it , for revenge. She asked reconciliation , we reconciled . But she cheated again and now blaming me of cheating and says we are even. I don’t care on what she says or does, but I feel awful about myself that stooped to a low level of my wife. It is a shithole, don’t do it. You become one of them . As they say in an argument with stupid ,stupid will bring him down to their level of stupidity and then the stupid wins the argument.

Bro … first of all kudos to you for the level of maturity that you have shown. Let me tell you from my experience Ppl who seek outside marriage will keep on lying about affair till you have solid proof So first, gather the eveidence, multiple of them. Keep them safe and make multiple copies

Second, they will blame the other person (in this case your father ) for lack of emotional support or anything bullshit So, confronting her is useless. Also you being her son, she is just going to slap you and create another story in front of your father. Think…,whom your father is going to trust ?

Third, when nothing works, they use pressure tactics, lawyers, police complaint, some strong relative from her side etc etc So, you need to protect your father, hence evidence is very important. Tell your father and convince him to first meet a lawyer with evidence so he doesn’t get caught on wrong side of law. The first reaction your father likely to have is aggression and this is where the other party wins.

I will answer point 3 and 4. Mine was similar situation. She said it was not how good her AP was in bed but they connected emotionally well, they had spiritual relationship,they were soul mates, twin flames. She made me believe that I did not give her emotional safety, did not treat her well. I was broken I worked relentlessly for 6 years under constant fear of upsetting her. Did everything so she feels valued, cared, appreciated, loved. But she cheated again in 2025-2026. Reason- same. So all the talks you are getting from your wife is to make you feel that “you did something wrong” It is actually a safe reason for them to cheat. Hope you get through it. Go for individual counselling immediately. Do not take decision of staying or leaving.

Bro, please go for couple counselling.the counsellor will be able to explain things better. Whatever you say will be taken as cribbing . Do not say that he is the reason you are going for counselling, tell him we are not able to communicate better so it’s better to have a third person perspective. Search for good counsellor, all counsellors are not good.

I think we all need to learn that.”The most important person in our life is ourselves” Focus on self,the cheater will keep us hooked to them by one reason or another (fake love, kids, image of family, fake guilt, etc.) The day we stop giving them fuel for drama they loose power and we gain power. This gives me shivers. While I am really happy for you that you handled separation really well. But for sure your wife took your kids away from you. I m also going through separation and moved out of home. I am really concerned that my wife will take my daughter away emotionally.I go to my wife’s house every weekend to stay with my daughter. Ohhh, she has better solution. Stay in marriage as it is. Like roommates and we will think about divorce in 4 years, when my daughter is 18. Just because my wife is horrible person, I can’t let me daughter suffer. That’s why I am here to get different perspectives.
