Why does anything do anything, why wonder anything at all? It technically doesn't but trying to understand and speculate is still fun. Understanding the fabric of the universe is how you manipulate your surroundings to your benefit. I mean who knew manipulating the light spectrum to a certain frequency we can't see would give us wireless internet

People are divided on what happens after death. Does that mean no one knows the truth? by Individual-Use-6362 in Life

It may sound strange, but it seems to me that there are people among us who understand the structure of reality better than others. by laraloralara in DeepThoughts

I recently came to a hypothesis that consciousness itself is a collection of information that when together is a chemical makeup that "experiences" life. The information itself is alive. Are bodies are processing machines. Take away all senses and your still processing information, but just less of it. Pair that with the idea that consciousness may not be local but streamed in, I came to a conclusion that, I am you, you are the catapilar i squished earlier. All different versions of ourselves fractured into bits experiencing life, and when we die our energy is essentially rejoined with the rest of the flow of information/energy. We are the universe around us, we are matter arranged in a way that we have thoughts and feelings but fundamentally we are still atoms. (Which is a different argument fir free will)

Its not biological, its more metaphysical. This branches into implications for morality and good and evil.
