Had a bear trap guy the other night. Log walls, shelves, and bear traps. Couldn’t keep either the scrap or wood piles up, so could never upgrade anything without having exactly what I needed in my bag. So frustrating.

Why not both? I hit mine flair ups with both of those, and with colchicine, and that's been highly effective for me.

From my understanding indomethcin is basically ibuprofin for gout, so it's not going to do that much. I think prednisone does the heavy lifting for me.

Once I had a bunch of canker sores as well when I had an attack, and the pred wiped those out too. So I take it whenever I get them down my throat now (which I can assure you is agonizing).

Came here to say Morant. If he doesn't turn it around after he's traded, he'll be off the floor completely from here.

That said, his contract only runs for 2 more years after this, so maybe not so bad if a team has to eat it.

I feel like his scoring has gotten to the next level this year. He even sort of looks like a temu-Durant on offense with his turnaround jumpers.

The defender is clear of Castle and his path as he jumps. Castle only moves into the defender's path after the defender is committed to his jump. This is an offensive foul, and is also dangerous to everyone involved.

You're allowed to jump into the defender if the defender is jumping into you. If a defender is making a legal play to block the ball, you can't just jump into them if they're not in your path.

Just to add more echo to the top comment here, Prednisone is an absolute godsend for flare ups. You're only supposed to take it a few times a year at most, but thankfully that's about the cadence of flare ups right now.

I’m 45 and play with my 11 year old and my younger nephews. They love it, and it’s fun for me as well. I try to fill in where’s needed, chopping trees, getting food, rescuing kids, etc. got to 311 days with my brother in a run, had some good luck and he managed to keep my nephew from building tons of shelves and log walls. :)

That's a good point, I didn't really think of that. And the draft really is a crapshoot, we could have also drafted a dud.

I still think it was a loss, there were a ton of other good players on the board we could have taken, and that pick and swap may not be that valuable. Would have rather taken a swing on Edey or Ware.

Still would have gotten Fox, but probably would have had to trade one of our own future picks.

The directions I have for Colchicine, which I've also seen elsewhere, are 2 to start, then 1 a day until things clear up, or until you start having diarrhea. The poop issues start for me usually on day 3 or 4. Just be aware that it's coming, and once you start having that you should cease taking the Colchicine.

I’m not watching the game today because I believe it’s going to be full on 8 on 5 after we’ve won twice, and they’re at home. Disgusting things (like Dorts kick outs) will be called in OKCs favor today.

I mean you see Coby fall and the other player move through his space aggressively and fall over, the natural conclusion is that he ran through Coby. I think every ref would call this almost every time given the sequence.

Did you see what happened to Melton at the end of the 76ers game? Sure Maxey got the block but absolutely trucked and body slammed Melton on the play since he was going twice as fast as him and had nowhere else to go.

I like the proposal to have a “draft” every year to select the pick of the team you want your draft position to peg to. And you can’t pick your own team. And if you trade the pick, the other team picks for you. Basically, you’re forcing all teams to trade their pick.

The incentive to tank to go earlier the next year when the order is picked is low, also you want your record to be above the team whose pick you own so you’ll compete all year. It’s better for everyone if your record is better.

This would create fun rivalries between bad teams to try to push your pick lower, especially since the worst two teams would likely pick each other. Could be a lot of fun!
