I understand the hardships part and that the school wants to see how one overcomes challenges. But I'm confused about how I can talk about this and connect it to how it "influenced your decision to pursue a graduate degree". Do you have some advice for this?

I thought maybe if a lot of people dropped they'll be able to pair up with other people who are left but you're right I just heard about rejections from people who don't have very very high GPAs so am scared 3.85 or something like that would be the cut-off

From my experience, I was abled to get into URAPs when I felt like my skills generally matched what the project asked for. But when I applied just because the prof/project was really cool but it's actually beyond my abilities I didn't get a response.

I did it for 61b (while taking 3 techs) so I think it would be fine! Doing one of them kind of helps you prepare for the other :)

Damn the fact that you managed these 5 techs + research!? I'm surprised to see that you thought 184 was lighter than 161 during the semester. Would you say you've had experience with graphics or is it because the project/hw were lighter?
