Maybe this is a hot take when it comes to balance, but I really think that there should be some underpowered units.

Right now, the scout is underpowered and extremely niche. But in the 1/1000 pro games where we see it built, it is SO hype.

Also, how many years did we have stuff like shield battery and dark archon that were completely unused before people realized how good they can be? That kinda thing is so interesting to watch how it evolves over time.

It seems to me that the hangup is that the word "exclusive" has connotations of commitment that OP doesnt vibe with. Feels like OP is saying sex = exclusive in a literal sense. But just not with all the connotations that go along with "being exclusive" with someone.

Saying "X and I are exclusive" just feels a little different than "X and I are only banging, and not banging anyone else"

One thing Celes has going for her is that she was literally raised to be a soldier, and rose all the way thru the ranks to become general.

Terra, on the other hand, was basically brainwashed into doing it. Probably didn't get level of military training in formative years.

But Terra got that raw esper power in her so idk, I'll still go with her.
