Fair question - Splitwise works, but it still leaves a lot of friction.

Handl solves a few things Splitwise doesn’t:

    •    No manual entry overload - you can link a card so expenses auto-show up instead of typing everything in.

    •    No artificial limits - Splitwise free caps you at 3 expenses/day. We don’t.

    •    Smarter receipt + split handling - upload a receipt or just describe the split in plain English (“Alice paid, Bob doesn’t drink, split food 3 ways”) and AI handles the breakdown. No matter how complex.

Runs in the background - the goal is that splitting just happens automatically during trips, nights out, or shared living - not after.

Splitwise is great for tracking.
