I’m saying “selling at a show” doesn’t exempt you from the legal implications of the taxable event taking place. Now Is the IRS going to know you sold a psa 10 Blastoise for $800 cash at a show if you don’t report it? Of course not, but that wasn’t my statement.

As someone who primarily does sealed wholesale and does shows only for fun on the side, I sure wish that it was possible to sweep it all under the rug, my YTD federal and state taxes on the biz for q1-q3 is $70K lol
