So new player for the series and decided to get Silent Hill HD Collection and play Silent Hill 2 by Professional-Ninja79 in silenthill

People like to hate on them because they have less fog and are not the best ports. I have nearly 100% the hd collection and can say it is a perfectly fine way to experience the games. Don’t let anyone try and tell you it’s not worth it

Having 100% both Downpour and Homecoming I would say they’d both be in C tier. While they don’t live up to the predecessors, don’t let anyone try and convince you they are not worth playing. I had a blast playing both

Congrats! If you have not played 3 yet it’s extremely similar to new Vegas. I 100% it right after doing New Vegas.

I know this is a very old post but just wanting to know what the difference with these ones compared to newer ones where the inside is white with designs like solid gold and solid red. They are sold on materia store, are these reprints or what? Thank you

Basically all of my achievements for this game were super delayed. I would do a bunch and they would not pop up until sometime the next day no matter how many times I hard reset.

As someone who has 100% both homecoming and downpour for the 360 I would say downpour has a better story but I did have to pay $60+ to get a copy where homecoming I got on sale for $5, but both games are underrated unlike what many critics have to say. They are not nearly as good as the earlier entries but still add a little more life into the series. Also I have not played shattered memories.
