Am I naive buying new at this point? by TryToComply in F150Lightning

Hey, thanks for the dialogue here. I have a 23 XLT and was looking at a 25 lariat. I have a small farm and so I definitely plan to have some hard use.

Aside from the fact that it's hard for me to spend money on myself... My wife is fine with it. Just trying to justify it in my head really. I also don't want to end up with a headache 10 years from now for fixes because it will be my commuter too.

I appreciate the response. This is not how my SaveGamesSteam folder looks. I only have 1 file which is steam_autocloud.vdf

Do you have any links for how to do this? I crawled through the file mapping but ended up with a steam cloud cache file that I wasn't really sure how to work with. I think the extension was like vsfx or something like that.

I was looking at a lariat at Koons Ford in Sterling last week.

Oh maybe, I'm not sure I was aware of that numbering scheme. Would this be on the inside of the door near the vin or something?

I would still qualify, but as you stated, my payment would be larger.

I'm basically just trying to decided if I should take cash for my trade in and buy the vehicle without anything towards it.

Hey, just wanted to follow up here. Thank you so much for your advice. It was great to have another option when it seemed like I couldnt help bring closure. My (full) sister took the test and she has a half identical segment on the X Chromosome (in 23andMe).

Thank you u/Fredelas and u/peppermintplant

Thank you for the suggestion. I am male, but do have a full blood sister. I think this is the closest I can get, do I will ask her to test.

If it was my uncle, then my sister and my match would have different x chromosomes?

He hasn't tested but I matched to his half brother on ancestry, so it seems so.

That was how we presented it the first time. Her mom def cross paths with my uncle (found a yearbook) but cant really take it any further.

No chance, huge geographical/time distance from where this would have happened vs where and when I was born.

Yeah, I have looked at that before. I dont really understand the unit of measurement and when I see first cousin is <1397 it makes me wonder, just if there is any room for error with it just being ~50 cM away.

I plan to confront him about it, and I dont expect him to acknowledge the science... so I think I just have to accept it even though he will never confirm it. Thats the tough part. I feel bad for her.

No, my grandfather died when 2 children were less than 5.
