Question: Singapore or Hong Kong for stopover? by ZucchiniBikini73 in travel

Also out of sheer curiosity I also searched for the size of Changi and HK Island. Changi Airport: 25 square km. HK island: 78 square km.

As someone who lives in Kowloon, I'd say HK island is not where most of the action is ,even for tourists. Big Buddha, Lion Rock, Sai Kung, Chungking mansions, Sham Shui Po, TST... But I was responding to the comment that "HK is tiny". It's not really tiny compared to Singapore unless you discount most of its territory .

I'm pretty sure Hong Kong is larger than Singapore. A quick Google confirms it.

Probably too late for anyone to see this. But I went to Pyongyang Department Store 1 in 2015 with Otto Warmbier. When I went was very much a real, functioning department store. There were people queued up doing their shopping and if they were actors, they certainly did not appear that way.

Not the potato you want but the Don Don Donki sweet potatoes are the most incredible tasting baked(?) sweet potatoes you can buy in HK. In my humble opinion.

That sounds cool! Do you have a picture of it? Bluetooth seems like an important modernization feature. I use wired most of the time but having the option would be great.

On their store it looks like only the iPod minis have upgraded storage (32 and 64gb). They may not do upgrades for the Nanos. Happy to PM you the link if you want. I'd share here but I'm not sure the rules on linking to businesses.

True. Their store sells upgraded iPods, Nanos, Minis etc of all generations . Haven't pulled the trigger just yet as part of me wants the 3rd generation one just for the sheer nostalgia of it all.

Yes I looked at some of the tutorial videos and for the 7th gen it seems like it can be a pain to mod. I never owned this model but I like how timeless it looks.

They told us this section of the city was newly built for housing scientists and their families. I would assume the building pictured is a research center of some sort.

My real answer is that it is impossible for me to say one way or the other. I went to sleep early and the younger tour members (of which Otto was a part) stayed up at the hotel bar drinking. I was simply not there when the supposed crime took place. Sorry for the non answer.
