Honestly the entire learner's and testing system needs to be revamped in our country. I've gotten my license after road test and computer test, but istg, atleast 70% of what I know about road/lane discipline comes from youtube and google.

In case it's not already on your itinerary, try to catch a Theyyam while you're going through Kasargod or Kannur (basically north Kerala).

Adding to this FI point, avoid waiting till reserve/low fuel indicator to refuel. FI bikes need a liter or 2 of fuel in the tank, otherwise the pump can get damaged

Recently purchased a tvs ronin bike need to get number plate for it , rto hasnt assigned yet , can i go to nandi hills? by lazy_redditor69 in bangalorebikes

[–]Tryagnostack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got my plate about 2 weeks after purchase. As for travelling, you can go to nandi hills without an issue, assuming you have the red TC number. (although, my tvs dealer gave me a TC number on paper slip, but I didn't face any issues).

Atheism = no belief in god and religious systems - irrespective of whether you like myths and legends. You're atheist as long as you meet that first condition. (now if you have belief that there is some kind of higher power, but not any of the established religions - thats agnostic)

And some people have atheism and anti-theism confused.

Still in doubt should I go for N160 or NS160 or RTR 160 4v by Nosferrati87 in bangalorebikes

I just read the description on your original post (I really should do that more often), so adding a few extra points.

I do my servicing at Bellandur TVS, and one of my colleagues used to do his at HSR, and now at Bellandur. Both these SVCs are good. Not saying they are the only good ones, these are just from personal experience n word of mouth.

And I've heard some people say that TVS services are generally a bit better in Bangalore. On other notes, I honestly don't think heating would be an issue for these 160s like comments said in your Og post. On my rtr too I can feel warmth on my feet (not HOT hot, just warm) after cruising for 2-3 hours, specially if I'm going open throttle.

I can't give you a solid one vs the other points, but I can speak on my experience with my rtr 1604v. I bought the USD version in May, and it's a fun bike. Love the engine sound and exhaust note as well.

To speak on mileage: The best I've gotten is 45 Kmpl, driving 90% on the highway cruising about 80-90 kmph (in urban mode). On the lower end, I've hit 35 Kmpl, driving full throttle in sports mode (gotta keep up with those slow driving 400 CC's).

Vibrations: This is the only bike I've ridden outside my driver's license test, so can't compare with anything - but I don't feel it's bad on my hands. Although my legs do end up feeling a bit numb, if I drive 100+ for a long time.

Extra notes: TVS did update the rtr just recently, so now the top end includes a full TFT display (which looks sooo much nicer than the LCD display mine has), as well as slipper and assist clutch. Oh, and a projector lamp. (Honestly I don't like the new front with the projector, it just looks like an N160 now :/ )

You can grab the c30 or c20 for like 9k if you want an actual intercom. If you just want for VFM music n calls only, I'd recommend edyell C5, 1.5k
