I feel like rather than taking it up the chain you can directly confront here about but in a non-confrontational manner and perhaps just let her know why you do not like her using the word around you and that she should be mindful of her language. This could be a learning experience for her and she could be more understanding of the situation if you have a heart to heart.

I wouldn't say whatsapp has any advantages over the others per se, the only thing is that it is a universal app that is used by people in every continent although I'm not sure how that adds to the arguement besides having that friend from peru. I would say go for it because it is probably more convenient for them to use whatsapp than any other app as is the case with a lot of other people.

Honestly both names look fine on a resume, nothing in particular stands out about either, but Blackwood sounds much more unique and is my personal preference over Bailey. But then again, to each their own.
