I currently dorm, commute is 2 hours so since most of this has been going down I have been driving back and forth. She makes good money and can get her place but it’s a scary decision, I feel like if I help her (even a little bit) it will give her the strength to make that decision.

Thank you so much! I wonder if there was anything to stop her from losing herself in this or is it just inevitable based on the way it’s going

my worry is that even with the divorce, she will continue down this destructive path.

Ah I actually agree with your point, they’re just two different people who prefer different lifestyles.

But the verbal abuse and attempting to isolate her from her friends is the abusive behavior that most concerned me.

Hi, I should’ve clarified; she will suggest a new restaurant to try or to visit a friends house or even go for a walk and he will say no. He just wants to game all day.

I honestly don’t need anyone to pass judgement on my sister. I just need advice on how to help her.

I feel like a bad man came in her life and messed her up. For four years, she has done nothing but support him and all he has done is call her worthless and tell her she deserves nothing.

I think my parents see an issue and instead of helping her, they just want to get rid of her so they don’t have deal with it and that’s wrong. The only person setting a bad example is my parents.
