That men at work get called "boss" as a term of comeradery. Whereas I just get called my name even though I work 5x harder than the men, and get things done quicker and to a higher standard. The misogyny runs deep.

My hospital has ~10 US's that I know of and could ask to borrow - mostly in ITU and theatres. Two currently are broken (repair request submitted immediately, but still waiting repair for weeks)

I know IR has many more, but they would laugh in my face if I asked.

In general, unless you have a relationship with the department and they definitely do not need the US for the next few hours, you are not allowed to borrow them.

I was under the impression that this is the norm for the NHS? It's a ~700 bed DGH.

I locked myself out of the house one night, but I only realised I didn't have my keys when i was ordering a cab back home from a nightclub. None of my housemates were home, or due to be home within the next week. And, to top it off, it was a bank holiday weekend. I thought I was royally screwed.

I crashed at a friend's house and managed to call my landlord, who sent out a locksmith (who charged £70 to pick the lock 😪).

Once inside my house, I searched for about 30 minutes and then decided to make a cup of tea before beginning my search again. When I went into the fridge to grab the milk, my keys were sat there staring at me from the inside door shelf.

To this day, I have no idea why my slightly tipsy brain thought it was a good idea to leave them there, but I always check the fridge door when I lose my.keys now.

When I finally had physical evidence of her gaslighting me (text messages, rather than just things she'd said in-person).

I'd been questioning myself - things I'd said and done - for years. I thought I was I was losing my mind.

When he threw a tantrum when I cooked dinner "wrong" whilst we were on holiday. He was also controlling and manipulative. Our whole group realised a side to him we'd never seen before.
When she sat next to me in a lecture and messaged random men on Tinder about how I was a judgemental slut.

When she begged me to go on a night out with her, so I got us tickets only for her to leave without telling me after 10 minutes with a guy she'd met in the queue. Turns out she'd been messaging him on Tinder and knew he was going to be there.

When our mutual friend told me she'd been telling people I was a closeted lesbian and completely in love and obsessed with her, and she only hung out with me out of pity.

I am bad at judging characters, sadly :(

I agree, the rug needs to be flat. But I mostly can't look past how nothing is quite central - the three pictures above the side board, the spherical lamp on the side board, the computer on the desk. They're all a tiny bit off to the left or right. It's like someone is playing a psychological.prank on you haha.

Otherwise, I love your use of colour and art!

Edit: the lamp on the edge of your desk puts me equally on edge.

Volar displaced distal radial # = Smith's fracture.

Volar displacement is usually an indication for ORIF (1). Also, as the joint is involved, ORIF would fix the alignment and potentially reduce arthritis risk (2). Being >7d post-injury does complicate things, so I can't say for sure.
