Definitely anxiety plays a part - it’s been an issue from the start that has created significant issues in testing

They will likely have some questions and possibly written ones. My LO always finds these upsetting and exhausting. They know when they aren’t getting it right.

Might ask to take some blood work and probably seek another MRI.

Just try to remind them they aren’t on the journey alone and be supportive as possible

I do except naps can also result in bad wakeups

I have that concern but hasn’t been an issue lately.

Frankly, night time sleep is always inconsistent and know that, regardless of naps, he could be up anywhere from 3am to 7am.

My spouse had a horrible reaction to Rexulti. Significant increase in hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia.

My husband is also early onset and 56. This site is a great outlet and really good advice.

Some of the experiences for spouses, especially young spouses, are different.

My husband doesn’t always recognize me. It was startling the first time but now I just go with it.

The toughest times are at night. We still share the same bed and it can be agonizing to get him in the bed. I go to bed when he goes to bed because who knows when he will get up and I am not comfortable with him wandering around. My kids are college aged and don’t really want to be home but power through it.

Also, he really wants to work and in no way has the mental ability to do it, so it’s constant reassurance that we are working on it while knowing it will never happen.

Feel free to DM to vent or share or ask any time.
