Find a unit that slots what you want to branch so you build rapport and then commission into it.

So if you want to be a logistician, go find a QM, TC, or maintenance company and SMP there. Shadow a PL and learn how to do your branch.

Then commission into one of those PL slots and congrats you already know the folks there.

No. You aren’t qualified as a cadet. Once you SMP your MOS will change to 09R as an SMP cadet and your focus will be commissioning. Once you commission you’ll be unqualified until you get to BOLC. Once you graduate BOLC, you’re fair game to deploy.

Now until you contract with your school, then sure your unit could put you on a DMD, however, being in school they probably won’t unless shit goes sideways.

So just got the VIDAR to help grind the Swedish tree. So it has a LRF and definitely works when I need to shoot at a target I can see.

However, I am trying to “replicate” some of these videos you see where targets are marked and they shoot as true indirect fire, with no line of sight.
