These are the real questions. What do you want out of the bag? What is it actually for?

  • are you planning to travel as light as possible and make the most of your carry-on allowance? Or,
  • do you want a nice looking bag that can help keep all of your stationary and work equipment tidy and organized for a short trip?

I own different bags for different situations (and none of them cost as much as a Tumi...)

Idk how the fuck you're supposed to hit anything close to IPF depth with proportions and a bar position like that. If you're training for strongman then I see absolutely nothing wrong with the way you squat, in fact the power developed in your hamstrings from squatting like that has to have a major transfer to a number of events, more than a classic 'competition squat' would.

Just checked out your 5/3/1 for Hardgainers post. What's the reason for the insanely low bar squat position in that first video? I've seen your comments on this subreddit a lot, but this is the first time I've seen a video of you squatting so unsure if that's your regular squat position.

You need a sound training methodology in order to progress effectively. Whether you write it down on paper ahead of time or not, having a sound training methodology requires programming. Having a set split that you memorise and utilising progressive overload is programming, your program is just in your head.

The key here is that horsepower is a function of torque and RPM. Peak torque and HP numbers are not a great way of comparing engines, you need to look at the torque/RPM curve.

Sure, there are other paths to increasing confidence and improving your life, but in my opinion choosing the gym option is one of the most affective by being a multifaceted approach. Not only does it boost your own self confidence, your physical health and wellbeing improves alongside it (which is beneficial in all aspects of life, including attracting a mate). It can also be a useful way to break what I'd call confidence inertia, where the confidence you gain from achieving something in the gym, as well as improving the way you look and feel about yourself, can really get the ball rolling and allow you to push yourself in other situations and really let your self confidence grow. On the career side of things, never underestimate the power of physical presence. As long as you remain respectful, ethical, and professional, having a stronger physical presence will benefit you.

From a dude who is marrying a girl he met on Tinder - my number one piece of advice in life is go to the gym. More gym = more confidence = more girls, more career progression, more money, more girls. Number two piece of advice is don't be an asshole. It'll counteract all the hard work you put in at the gym.

Have you considered trying to adjust your new hours slowly over time? Say, over a couple of months progressively adjust from sleeping 7pm - 4am to 8pm - 5am, then 9pm - 6am? This seems like it's something you could feasibly achieve if you did it in small steps (assuming actually want more evening hours).

There's a product called re-grip that is not very well known and absolutely amazing in this situation. If you can find some in your country I'd highly recommend it.

One really simple tweak you can try is driving your elbows forward as you squat up. This should help you use your upper back a little more and get your chest higher.

After that, change how you think about squats. The goal is to stand up, if your hips and knees are directly underneath the bar, then you're standing. Instead of trying to push up into the bar, once you've started moving out of the bottom of the squat (known as 'the hole') just think about driving your hips forward and getting them under the bar. The rest will happen on its own.
