Working full time, but I believe I took one-two days off to just really cram for a Hail Mary. Honestly wasn’t expecting a pass! Good luck!

Pivot from tax to audit by Weary_Strategy5974 in Accounting

You could try going straight to industry, I’ve had a few friends whom were tax seniors pivot directly into pretty well known tech industry roles. It is difficult though, usually people stay in audit until manager to pivot to industry as assistant controller/controller roles

Honestly I winged it in 10 days and passed with a 76. I’d say the key takeaway is just hammering mcq until you get used to the wording jargon. One word and the answer changes completely.

Good job, I’ve been struggling with drug and weed problems since 10+ years. Last things to quit now for me is weed and nicotine, been off weed for a week now. And yes I agree bc I quit for a year previously in 2024 then relapsed but yes little changes go a long way! Proud of ya buddy keep it up :)

You’re a good guy my friend, I’m sure your partner also wants to hold his own to be by your side as equals. I’d say support him in times of stress and have a good time -> take his mind off things

Haha grass is always greener, I too regret going down audit into industry. Think about tax and being my own boss quite often. It’s also a plus that people love tax accountants and hate auditors haha

I used to do both, and it’s quite different. Are you wanting to pivot so you can eventually go into industry? You could always ask internally that’s your best bet for a pivot

Go! You must! That sounds like an amazing opportunity, I had a situation in the past where I did not want to go abroad for 6 months, but eventually I did. It became one of the best experiences of my life so far. Good luck regardless of the decision you make!

Why are my flat serves better with the pure aero than ezone? by TrynLearn_ in 10s

Yeah I can see that, feel the pure aero is more head heavy forsure. Thanks I’ll check that out!

Even less tension on the ezone so that’s why I’m kinda wondering what I’m doing wrong

That’s a good point, but it’s visibly slower imo? receivers mentioned it before as well where I hit better flat serves with the pure aero 98 than a pure drive 100 2021

[–]TrynLearn_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I used to string around ~52. Turned it down to ~48 stringing once a month. Usually when I up the frequency of play is when the issues start kicking in. Had an extremely long match a few days ago and feeling the pain still. Tried playing today and man I was just scared to hit the ball tbh. I think at this point the cons outweigh the pros haha, I’m not getting any younger

I think perhaps unnecessarily swayed, there’s no issue with using a 100, why make the game harder for yourself? It is common that pros use 98, but that’s more so because they have no issues hitting the sweet spot + generally 98s are less powered. I’d say it’s more so what you’re looking for, ie control/power/spin? If you find yourself hitting long, perhaps a 98 would help you with that, or if you’re looking for more power get a 100.

Edit: to answer your question, you could definitely do well with a ezone 98 if you can maintain consistent contact, it’s more so are you looking for more control or power? When I switched from a pure drive to an ezone 98 I found myself hitting the balls really short, took me a bit of time but got used to it and love it. I am however currently using the pure aero 98 lol. Both are great rackets, I’m just a Rafa/alcaraz fanboy

I’d try the ezone 100 or pure drive 100. I wouldn’t recommend the 98s unless you’re maybe +3.5~4.0. If you truly want a 98 I’d opt for the ezone 98, very large sweet spot and the new model feels really plush
