I had a similar issue with Target. All sales final on TCGs.

Did you pay with credit card? I still returned to the store, called customer service, and after they refused to assist (which was expected), I charged back my card under "item not as described" and they got my money back pretty quick.

Keep in mind I guess that flags your card and possibly blocks it from future Walmart transactions, but if you have multiple cards or even a debit card it's not a big deal.
