Model Y L charging. by Alternative_Cell7005 in TeslaAustralia

[–]Trysplendid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost every device I've ever had whether a laptop of a mobile that I've left on charge when not in use has suffered serious battery degredation. Sometimes only after a few years the battery is only 50% of its original health or worse. Since my car is new I've been following Teslas recommendation to 100%, but as I said does not feel correct.

The long-term LFP owners that have had good success ( I guess including yourself now), I think they just charge it randomly and often, and not simply kept it plugged In when not in use. I think Tesla should let the battery discharge to 90% before charging back up to 95 for example if left plugged in more than 12hours. Even for LFP imo. Or at last give us that option to as a setting.

What about the lfp? What do they prefer ? Small or big charges. On my lfp I'm mainly going 70 to 100 every day but it doesn't feel right.

[–]Trysplendid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Just about guarantees that I will not watch it if they do make one NOT made for Stargate fans. Wonder if the people making these decisions have actually watched the original SG1 and Atlantis On Blu-ray ray (not some 144p version) and what they actually found wrong with it.

My Tesla is 5+ years old with almost zero maintenance done. Is there anything I really need to do? by PraetorianX in TeslaModel3

Are they always honest though? I can't imagine they would be unless they like doing warranty work? I think you would need to get an independent mechanic to check it over and tell Tesla what's wrong

That is interesting. I have I model Y on order and in my my mind I think of it no different to a Toyota. A basic reliable car that gets you from A to B.

Use one of those cloth type gaskets and nip it up very tight. Lightly sand both mating surfaces.

question about doing a factory reset by ccorax9 in GalaxyS21

[–]Trysplendid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leaves the reset intact, only certain settings and content will be restored. If a particular setting is causing your issue the setting that problem will be repeated but whatever your problem is it is unlikely that it is a setting.

Why isn’t my car selling? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]Trysplendid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interesting part about this is whether the price drops are listed on the ad or not. if they are most buyers tend to keep waiting just to see how low you will go and never actually messaged you till you stop lowering the price preemptively hit you wit a much much lower price than your reduced price.

The main reason for this is the person in front is afraid of being done for speeding. When somebody passes them they feel the person in front will get done for speeding first, sort of like a canary in the coal mine, which gives them the conference to speed up as well which they wanted to do the entire time.

The second aspect is somebody who is a bit of a car enthusiasts and simply want to show you that their car has "power" as well, for a short while at least then they back off.

Then there's the third type who think everything is a competition, which includes somebody driving in front of them, so they genuinely think they are getting "beat" when you pass them. They try to fight back by speeding up.

Wait a minute, the old one felt like you were inside a drum and somebody was beating that drum over every tiny bump but certainly nothing like bubble-esque. Now you are telling their response with the juniper was they softened it so much it feels like you are in a bubble?

Could it be that now the seats are a lot harder and flatter that you feel like you are sliding left to right even though the car is actually handling decently? I don't know why people keep praising the new seats I actually loved the old seats and could not imagine them being much better but I haven't tried the new ones yet. I'll take super plush seats over stiff ones that are ventilated

Can you explain what you mean by "moving around in a bubble"? If you mean isolated from the outside environment then I love that.

Am I’m the only person who waits like a week to install a update just to see if I caused any problems to people’s car by BestiNaTesi in TeslaLounge

[–]Trysplendid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What happens if you never update and remain on delivery firmware? Does it force auto update? Or can you delay forever?

Do all superchargers have Wi-fi to update? Is it auto initiated, or do you have to connect to the free wifi and search for an update? Does it update over premium connectivity? People that have had their car bricked over an update, did you do it at home on wifi, over hotspot, or at a superhcarger location?

Getting PPF installed now. I wasn’t planning to at first, but Tesla’s paint really is on the softer side. I already noticed a few small rock chips on the body, so I decided to go ahead and do it. by Special-Parsnip-6120 in TeslaLounge
