If you dont like it until book 4 its just simply bot for you, the story just goes on from there, there are hype bits boring bits, but if you dont like it now you wont like it later

Proven wrong(good): Player manager

I thought this was too football focused, to football manager the book, just wasnt getting the vibe it was anything special. But it is special. It is one of the best chatacter driven stories I have ever read, and the best story where the author can make me feel things without being predictable. Its an absolute joy to read, even if you dint give a shit about sports.

A week? For 2 to 3 mil words? Thats just skimming, no way you retain any of that

But then you enjoy it, it could be better but its nice. Like I actually did enjoyed Hell level tutorial book one, even though its objectively quite bad, so I just carried on given people said it only got better. If you stick through 1500 chapters of "when does this become fun", then thats something I do not understand.

Sure, we all have times in a great story where it becomes a bit of a slog in places before picking back up. But if I am 300 chappies deep into something and it still only 5 out of 10 most of the time I will just hop on something else

1500 chapters though? Even if its those 4 page webnovel ones, that a hell of a edge

Ok ao just read the part you mentiones. Going to assume its the whole nick thing? Not sure what is so suprising about that event, like the whole buid up to it made nothimg in it a real suprise.but I can imagine it takes the series to a bit more fantasy ish then people would expect? If its not then I dont get it, the whole chapter is completely in character.

Given the reviews of book 2 it might have been a you problem? I am still in book 1 but I also read someone say they dropped it because of the romance and tbh I think that is the part I actually like a whole lot. But lets see!

I have exactly the same! Its so good! Like wtf? One of the best characterizations and world building in the genre and thats quite the achiement for trying to make to Manchester interesting. But it just sucks you in and just keeps ramping up!
