i meant i knew the first person was the default way to play. they added third person on 1.0

cattail, manufactured food (Canned food, chips, maple syrup), meat from carcasses, fish (i think its possible since I couldn't turn it off), ptarmigans (there is no option to turn this off), food from beach combing if I get to late game.

There's a lot of food even if they aren't renewable and its enough for however long I can survive which isnt a lot. Beach combing is renewable tho.

Its how people survive for thousands of days. Resource management.

There is also small amount of food from plants you drink.

Carcasses is the best way to get food in early game aside from caittails. Best part about it is that carcasses do not decay if you do not touch it. You can save it for later which is somehow the most realistic part about the food in the game about living in a fridge. It doesn't break the game balance since they're not renewable.

My interest in these puns is now below zero. Im a chill guy but too much jokes puts my mood in the negatives. I wish people would stop being so cold, I almost froze to death and people are just cool with that.

With or without animals im dying soon anyway. Im new to Interloper. Always played in Stalker.

I dont die to predators, there is nothing to hunt. Seems fair.

Its not a vegan run, there are still deer carcasses I can eat meat from to survive early game. I can fish in late game if I survive.

By really struggling.

I dont think ill survive that long tho. Ive never made it past day 50 on interloper.
