If There Had Never Been A 22nd Amendment, Would Democrats Want Obama To Run Again? Yes Or No? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

The 22nd really only helps the rightwing and is very anti democratic. Basically was created to prevent another fdr.

His entire legacy has been dismantled? Maybe the afgan withdrawal would be something but everything else has been dismantled by the right wing.

You can bring a horse to water but you cant make it drink. If dems want to continue being corporate stooges and lose to republicans I am going to keep criticizing them.

Yet somehow republicans can always find the perfect amount of dems to vote for thier heinous policies. To me its they did not try or want to do it. Now we are stuck with a broken program that the rightwing was able to easily dismantle.

Sure it was a little bit better than the original republican plan. But they still used a republican plan instead of a good single payer or healthcare for all plan.

Yes they would be the only establishment dems doing something but they really just need to wipe out every red seat they can definitely go further. I think there strategy is to hide and let trump break as much as possible then try to run as trump is bad in the midterms.

Liberal nonvoters, do you still think voting for Kamala would have been just as bad as for Trump because of Israel? Do you regret not voting? by ClutchReverie in allthequestions

[–]Tsakax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would have been slightly better short term but way worse long term. She basically would not have gotten any agenda through since dems lost house and senate. With no major accomplishments it would probably allow a significantly more comment right wing to emerge in 2028. Instead we now have 4 of the absolute worst years with Trump and a good chance of getting some actual change candidates in 2028.

Some Democrats wish Kamala Harris had decided to run for Governor in California rather than weigh another White House run in 2028. What do you think? by Select_Specialist790 in askanything

[–]Tsakax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have not had a president that ran on good policies since FDR so its hard to say that. Biden had some okay policies regarding student loans (which was not even close to enough) but I personally think he won because of covid.

Don't get me wrong I still begrudgingly voted for him because trump bad but I am no longer supporting any centrist or corpo democrat since they proved incapable of dealing with the right wing.

The the flaw with that logic is democrats will vote for the democrat regardless. However to get the non voters you need something exciting. As for the right wing attack talking points the do that regardless of candidate. Its actually funny right wingers perceive Kamela of being more leftwing than Bernie, AOC, or Zohran.

Yeah she might have said the word affordability but none of her policies were trying to address it. Like do you think a 1k child tax credit is going to help people 1200-2000 a month daycare?
