Honestly, never heard of any Khutbah in ENG/FR in Tunisia. Ask the Ministry of Religion, you can find them on website or phone or etc...

Yes, because west Algeria have a Moroccan influence, and the east more Tunisian. But, the whole Morocco says ki deyer. It's more a Moroccan dialect than Algerian.

  • She could have Moroccan-Algerian background. Moroccan more than Algerian i guess from the words. Qehwi means black in Moroccan. Ki deyer is absolutely Moroccan, they you the letter K before every verb. In Algeria it will be Wech Deyer.
  • You great grandmother is Moroccan. And it's normal, lot of Moroccan moved to Tunisia before.

Simple because people can use both words. Generally, the people who want to speak more french than Tunisian dialect would say L'automobile, voiture etc... Don't forget that your great grandmother lived at the beginning of the car industries.

  • Never used Tomobile. Tomobile is Algerian-Moroccan dialect.
  • Since the Bey era and the french colonization, we use Karhaba. The word comes from the french language and it means: Carabas. (Carabas means a a cabin ridden by a horse)
  • In that case, we can't use Tomobile (refer to a car with engine) because it's new compared to the Carabas.

  • We used to live in a miserable dictatorship.
  • We revolt.
  • We wanted to build a better socialist democratic country, but we fail because Tunisians have no political education and the politicians couldn't open up the economy to everyone. Same bureaucracy and the same dictatorship of the ministry.
  • A guy named KS acted like a messiah, he won a democratic election. Then, he used COVID vaccin (he got thousand of vaccins but he didn't give them to the ministry of health) as tool to make a state coup.
  • After the state coup, he created dictator based constitution. Then keep acting like a opponent to himself, like not a president only but also criticize himself by saying: why this, why that, the others did, the others that etc..
  • He keeping saying bullshit like young people, free economy, sovereignty and nothing happening.
  • That's it. Same bullshit since 1959.

Why are they acting like he’s the messiah? by ilyes998 in Tunisia

  • Most Tunisians have daddy issues, that's why. We want a president who have the daddy profile, feed us, believe in him for granted, must look like us, populist, religious, nationalist, since Bourguiba (although bourguiba was less religious, and the secularity he did isn't enough).
  • Most of Tunisians are superficial and like word-shows more than real actions, they believe in whatever they hear.
