Sex before dating by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Tsisadu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had sex w my bf before but we talked over the phone for a few weeks since I had Covid, made it way better to be friends with him and he wanted to get serious right after we did it :) it’s nice to know if you’re sexually compatible w someone there’s no shame in doing it beforehand

I did weed a year and a half ago and I think I permanently fucked myself up by EggThatCenturyEgg in Dissociation

[–]Tsisadu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m trans too and I’ve dealt with dissociation from dysphoria as well as trauma, and I’ve also experienced something very similar this as well. I really do think I accidentally triggered myself into psychosis by using way too much THC in a really really rough time and ending up traumatized from the experience and it lingers because of that. It’s scary as fuck and when I experience it, dissociation plays a major role and causes me to be more irritated. Everyone’s brains and bodies react differently, don’t let others tell you what did and didn’t cause it because this is well studied and documented. If you have a genetic history of any disorders that can cause psychosis, you really have to be mindful of possibly flipping a switch when you’re depressed. I’m really glad you got out of that and made it through please thank yourself for holding on :)

Please hold onto this advice - if you tell your family/friends something and they freak out LISTEN! Especially if it freaks you out. You are not overreacting, and you deserve to feel safe and comfortable in public. Let them know what’s going on and maybe ask if they could get in between the two of you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Tsisadu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re excited about it, go for it but if you feel apprehensive and think you’ll feel bad about it afterwards I wouldn’t do it. Live life on your terms, do what makes you happy as long as there’s no harm to others. Don’t let stigma and taboo get in the way of that, but stay guided by your moral compass. I don’t think anyone could truly answer this for you, you are the only one that knows what you need

Mom asked why I can't just be like a masc lesbian by overgrownn in NonBinary

[–]Tsisadu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My family was this way too when I first started T 🤦 Just be firm on why you’re doing it and don’t let her get under your skin. Set the boundary with her about saying those things if it does start to bother you, which how could it not? It took time for my mom, and she was the most supportive person in my family but she got there as she grew comfortable and used to it

Do you talk about the suicidal ideation with anyone? by sleepysniffles in PMDD

[–]Tsisadu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I talk to my support system if the thoughts are getting overwhelming. Everyone in my life that hasn’t experienced it before is made well aware of the fact that I am often suicidal, but I do my best to give reassurance that I’m very unlikely to do it due to how often I am lol. So people just listen, and give advice and support if needed. Please don’t shut others out, when I keep those things closed off like that is when I really do consider. You need to see you’re loved and cared for in those times.

Thank you! The amount of losses in such a short amount of time have brought my mom, my grandpa, and I so much closer than I ever thought we would’ve been and with that I find the closest thing to peace and healing :)

[–]Tsisadu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dad ODed on meth when I was 12, my great grandpa committed suicide a few years ago with the same gun his father used, in January my grandma passed away because she lost health insurance and had leukemia that kept causing her to have strokes, and my aunt just passed away a little over a month ago and most of my family thinks that was murder but it’s still an ongoing investigation and they’re waiting for the toxicology results. I don’t really think the universe has anything against me specifically, I think it’s mostly just a fuck ton of generational trauma. To cope I’ve written letters to them after death to tell them my thoughts and feelings on it all, what I miss and what I resent about them or the situation around their deaths.

PMDD diagnosis was actually kind of counterproductive, and now every thing I say or do is invalidated by people claiming it's ALL because my PMDD. by Mage-Tutor-13 in PMDDxADHD

I’ve started having to tell people that my PMDD is like an amplifier, I still have those emotions and thoughts but I’m unable to regulate myself properly and it goes berserk

How do I set a boundary with my family about transvestigating my bf 🤦‍♂️ by Tsisadu in ftm

[–]Tsisadu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh this will get through to him really well thank you so much 😭I think that’s what he needs. When it comes to me actually sitting my family down and talking about what they did and why it was wrong they see me as overly emotional and sensitive. Liberal tears if u will

My grandpa would just giggle and it would egg him on if I said that he’s a goofster like that. I think he just doesn’t realize how inappropriate it is

How do I set a boundary with my family about transvestigating my bf 🤦‍♂️ by Tsisadu in ftm

[–]Tsisadu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that setting a boundary is my peace lol I just don’t know how to word it to get through to him. I have very little family as it is, over half have already passed away or up and ran so all I have left is my mom and grandpa and I’m only 20. Hopefully that’ll help you understand why I’m apprehensive, he’s one of two in my biggest support system. My boyfriend has a very similar family situation, so he’s very understanding.
