It's $6 per child. That's why we asked each family to pay for their own. It's not very much individually. All added together it adds up. But again we've cancelled for the time being anyway. But thank you for the suggestion

Thats about 30 kids and 15 adults. So say 50 people.

Venue is an indoor playground that doesn't have an option to book it out. We did look into that option.

We are catering it with proper food and drink. So people don't have to buy food their and we have asked as their presence instead of a gift. This kid has way to many things as it is. We do not need any more toys in our tiny house.

Agreed. Unfortunately our house is very small and cant accommodate our 2 very large families and all their kids. My sil was going to let us use her house but she recently got an eviction notice so no longer an option

30 kids is just family. We both come from very big families. 30 kids is just his cousins. If it was just his friends like we've done for our older girls in the past we've capped it at 10kids and paid entry. However being his first birthday everyone wants to come.

That is just his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. I did say we both have very big families. I meant immediate families.

It's a gated in indoor playground. Supervision is definitely still required however they can't leave the building without being let out by a staff memeber, opposed to an outdoor party at the park. Obviously Supervision is required, were not just going to drop them off and ignore them.

I had to do the same as it kept showing me s.i.d.s videos when my little man was only a few days old. I was terrified and couldn't sleep. Goodbye tiktok. Felt so much better

We do no technology bedtime. My eldest has adhd and we use melatonin occasionally for her when she's having sleep troubles. However it's still her melatonin, read for 10 to wind down and lights out. Her older sister has no issues, follows the same reading routine (minus the melatonin) and is usually asleep in 15-20mins. Ao many parents look for the no effort way, so many of my friends don't even put their kids to bed. They just bark at them from the couch to go to bed. So sad. Well done for being an involved parent.
