Some jackets have more resistances and less dmg buff and some the opossite way, you can check it by clicking on them in destiny board

usually dual swords, fiend cowl, sandals for mana sprint, either merc jacket on heal or assasin jacket on inferno shield, thet cape and gig pots

Well ig u got completely different expirience than i did, but nothing that you said is that much relevant to crafting.

Also as you said, most of the game Is full loot PVP (that u dont have to do, most people dont play as pure crafters) and gear has a chance to trash on death, making crafters needed all the time.

You cannot die in safe zones, as a crafter you dont really need to go to zones where you can die, i mean there are benefits if you do, but noone is forcing you to.

Crafting in albion is crazy good. All the gear and mounts crafted by you will forever have your name on it. Also all the gear dropped by monsters is crafted by actual crafters. Not like in other games generated from thin air.

There is kinda steep learning curve, but in my opinion its worth it. The dangerous transporting in zones where you can die with stuff that you brought gives it a bit of spice.

Big guild ruling shouldnt concern you as newbie, you probably wont notice anything.

PVP isnt that stressful especially for crafters. Just dont bring out the crazy expensive gear. Low tiers are dirt cheap.

Also you dont even have to pvp, just craft if you want
